AI Influencer Generator: build an original character, then make photo sets, videos and talking clips of the same face

There is a new page for making one consistent character: AI Influencer Generator. Pick a look, keep the face you like, and everything you make after that starts from the same person.

    • Pick or describe. Choose from 17 trait lists with 162 options, each shown with a small picture: gender, age, heritage, skin tone, build, face shape, hairstyle, hair color, eye shape, eye color, facial features, facial hair, distinctive features, makeup, style, accessories and expression. Anything you leave empty is up to the model. Prefer to write? Describe the look in one sentence and it is sent exactly as you wrote it.
    • 36 sample characters. Open a sample and press Use these traits to copy its picks, then change what you want. Or press Surprise me.
    • Each candidate is two photos. A close-up and a full-length photo of the same person on a plain background, made with Seedream 5.0 Pro at $0.036 per photo, so $0.072 per candidate. Make 1 to 4 candidates at a time. The price is on the button before you run.
    • Change one thing. Write a short line such as "make the hair shoulder-length" and get a new candidate where only that detail changes.
    • Save it once. Name the character and save it. Both photos go to your asset library, and the character shows up in Characters across Studio. The asset library opens once you have topped up $10 or more in total.
    • Character home. Open a saved character and choose what to make: a Photo set in new places, outfits and poses; a New look from one sentence, in three versions; Make a video from the cover photo; Talk, a lip-synced clip from a line you write and a voice you pick; or Copy a move from a 2 to 30 second reference clip. Every card shows its price.

Every character here is an original, fictional adult. Ages start at the 20s and there are no teen options. To build a character from your own photos instead, use New character in your asset library, which asks you to confirm the photo is yours or that you have the person's permission.

Assets gets folders, favorites and characters, and its own page

Your Assets library now has its own page at spicyapi.ai/assets, and it is the same library you see in Studio. Everything you keep lives there: saved results, uploads and characters.

    • Folders. Group what belongs together. Drag items onto a folder in the sidebar, or use Add to folder.
    • Favorites. Tap the heart on anything you reach for often.
    • Characters. Put a few photos of the same person together and give them a name, then @ that name in your prompt. Characters you already made in Studio moved in automatically, with nothing to redo, and they no longer have their own limit: they count toward your library storage like everything else.
    • Create with this. Every item and every character opens straight into Studio with the reference already in place, on a model page with the reference field filled in, or as ready-to-copy API code.

For developers, GET /api/v1/assets now filters by favorite and folder and sorts by date, name or size, and characters can be read through GET /api/v1/assets/entities. Old spicy://p/ references keep working. Details are in the docs: Asset library.

Assets: keep characters and references in one library, share it with your team, use it from the API

You can now keep the images, videos and audio you reuse, such as a character's reference photos, in Assets and drop them into any request as spicy://a/<id>. The same library works in the Playground, in Studio and through the API.

    • Save from anywhere. Bookmark a result, upload files, or save from the API with POST /api/v1/assets (from a finished task, an upload or a public link). Turn on auto-save in Assets to keep everything you generate on the website.
    • Private by design. Assets stay until you delete them. Previews are short-lived links signed for you alone, and nothing in the library gets a public URL.
    • Team libraries. Each team workspace has its own shared library. The team's API keys read and save there, and roles decide who can add or delete.

    Also new:

    • Point at your references in the prompt. Type @ to insert a reference image, video, audio clip or named element, written the way each model expects. On Seedream 5.0 you can mark a point or a box on a reference image, and inpainting endpoints let you draw the mask right in the form.
    • MiniMax H3 reference to video now takes up to 3 reference videos (15 seconds in total) and up to 3 audio clips. Reference video seconds now have their own lower rate ($0.0231 per second at 768p, $0.0378 at 2K), the first five reference images stay free, and each image from the sixth costs $0.014.
    • Studio opens faster, lists video first, and takes reference videos and audio alongside your photos.

API details are in the docs: Asset library.

SillyTavern extension, roleplay app setup and an n8n node

SpicyAPI now plugs into the apps people already use for roleplay chats and automation.

SillyTavern. Connect it through its Custom (OpenAI-compatible) source at https://api.spicyapi.ai/v1. The free SpicyAPI extension, open source under the MIT license at github.com/spicyapi-ai/sillytavern-spicyapi, adds pictures and short videos to the chat: /spicy-img, /spicy-video and an Animate button on every picture, each priced before it runs. If you switch it on, the chat model can also ask for a picture by itself, within a cooldown and a daily cap you set. The full walkthrough, with screenshots and the list of unrestricted chat models, is on the SillyTavern page.

Other roleplay apps. RisuAI, Agnai, Chub and KoboldAI Lite take the same address, API key and model ID. The fields for each app are in the roleplay apps guide.

    Fewer errors from custom endpoints.

    1. A chat request no longer fails when an app sends a sampling setting the model does not use, such as a frequency or presence penalty. The setting is skipped and named in the X-Spicy-Ignored-Params response header.
    2. The API now answers calls made straight from a browser, so browser-based tools work without a proxy. Keep your key out of public web pages, and give each tool its own key with a daily spending cap.

n8n. The community node @spicyapi/n8n-nodes-spicyapi brings image, video, audio and chat models into n8n workflows, with a price check before every paid run. On self-hosted n8n, install it under Settings > Community Nodes. Setup guide: docs.spicyapi.ai/docs/n8n.

ComfyUI nodes: run SpicyAPI models in ComfyUI, no GPU needed

The SpicyAPI node pack for ComfyUI is out, free and open source (MIT) at github.com/spicyapi-ai/comfyui-spicyapi. Every image, video and audio model in the catalogue becomes an ordinary ComfyUI node that runs on our servers, so a laptop without a GPU can chain text to image to video, with no model downloads.

    Set up in three steps.

    1. In ComfyUI/custom_nodes, run git clone https://github.com/spicyapi-ai/comfyui-spicyapi and restart ComfyUI.
    2. Paste your API key under Settings > SpicyAPI.
    3. Double-click the canvas and type a model name, or open a ready-made graph from the template browser.

    What is in the pack

    NodeWhat it does
Model nodesOne per image, video and audio model, named as on our site, with options taken from the model itself
SpicyAPI ChatAny text model in one node, for example to write the prompt for an image node
SpicyAPI LoRATakes a direct .safetensors link and chains into any LoRA model
TemplatesText to image, image to video, a chat model writing the prompt, text to speech, and LoRA

Uncensored models included. More than 100 of the nodes run models whose own policy is unrestricted, from the Spicy editions of Seedance, Wan and MiniMax H3 to the LoRA image models. The live list, with Freedom scores and prices, is on the ComfyUI page, together with worked examples.

The price is on the node. Each node shows its rate for the options you picked, every run is quoted before it starts, and Max cost per run in Settings stops anything above your limit. Seeds start on fixed, so queueing the same graph twice does not pay twice.

Your key stays out of shared files. It is stored in ComfyUI's user folder, never in a workflow or in the metadata of a saved image.

    Setup guide: docs.spicyapi.ai/docs/comfyui.

Compare models: one prompt, up to eight models side by side

Compare is live at spicyapi.ai/compare and in Spicy Studio under Tools. Write one prompt, pick the models, and every result lands side by side with its time and cost, so you choose a model on what it actually made of your shot.

Start with a set. Model sets pick the line-up for you: Best uncensored, Top rated, Spicy editions, LoRA models, New releases, Flagships, Lowest price, plus one for each model line (every Seedream version, every Qwen Image version). Or add up to eight models yourself and save them as your own set.

Images and video, seven kinds of run.

    ImagesVideo
    Text to imageText to video
    Edit imageImage to video
    Multi-image editFirst & last frame
    Reference to video

The model list follows the type, so you only see models that can do that kind of run.

Shared inputs go where they fit. Negative prompt, seed, sound and LoRA are filled in once and sent to every model that accepts them, with a count of how many do. Options that differ from model to model, including a LoRA of its own, sit in that model's settings.

The price before you run. Each model shows its price and the button shows the total. Run each model up to four times to see how much its results vary.

When a model declines. The run shows how many models declined, and one click runs the same prompt on the uncensored set.

    Also

    • A full-screen viewer to flip between results at full size.
    • Recreate loads an earlier comparison's settings back in.
    • Comparisons and saved sets are kept on this device; the results themselves are in your History like any other run.

Short film: one-button films, music, consistent voices and episodes

Short film in Spicy Studio now takes you from one line of story to a finished, scored and captioned MP4 with far fewer steps.

Start with four plain choices. Pick the length (30 s, 1 min or 2 min), how many people are in it, how much they talk, and the heat (Sweet, Flirty or Steamy). You see the scene count and an estimate for the whole film before anything is written.

Make my film. One button, two confirmations:

    1. Cast portraits, places and the first picture of every scene.
    2. After you've looked at your film as pictures and changed what you like, all the scene videos in one go.

Captions from the script are added automatically, and you land on the timeline ready to export.

Music and voice-over. Pick one of 12 instrumental tracks and it fills the whole film, sitting under the dialogue. Or let Score this film write a cue for your story. Scenes with on-screen text can be read aloud as a voice-over in one click.

The same voice in every scene. Give each character one of 30 voices you can preview. Turn on Same voice in every scene and each line is spoken in that voice first, then the video is lip-synced to it, so your lead sounds like the same person from the first scene to the last.

Episodes. Make the next episode writes episode 2 from where the story left off and brings the cast portraits, places, look and voices with it. Episodes of the same series are grouped on your projects shelf.

20 new one-minute voiced examples. Open any of them to see exactly how it was made. Use this story brings the cast portraits and scene pictures into your project, so you can go straight to the videos.

    Also new

    • Scene lines are editable right next to each shot, with a hint when a line is too long for the scene.
    • The model picker marks which models speak and which are uncensored; Seedance 2.0 Fast is now the default for dialogue.
    • If a model's content check refuses a scene, one click remakes it with an uncensored model.

You only pay for what you make, and you always confirm the price first. Writing a story costs about a cent; the music library and exporting are free.

Spicy Index 3.0 ranks models by output quality, plus 69 new reviews

The review center now ranks models by how good their output looks, not by how many specs they list.

    • Output quality is 85% of the Spicy Index. It combines public human-vote leaderboards (arena.ai, Artificial Analysis, Design Arena) with our own blind test: 112 prompts, every model given the same prompt, scored by three judges from different model makers who never see the model names. Specs such as resolution, duration and accepted inputs count for 15%, and resolution tops out at native 1080p.
    • The blind test is checked against human votes. On a board where our judges don't agree well enough with public human-vote leaderboards, the blind test counts at a reduced weight, and a model with only blind-test evidence there is shown but not ranked. This round that applies to video, where the judges mostly see sampled frames and miss camera work. Every test report says which rule applied.
    • Sound counts too. On six audio prompts we rated how clear the speech is, lip sync, emotion, and whether each sound lands on the right moment.
    • 69 new reviews in 10 languages: 32 image and video models, 20 language models and 17 tools, each with our own test results and current prices.
    • 106 new prompts in the arena, with 1,693 outputs to vote on.

The full rules are on the methodology page.

Face swap, head swap, character swap and look-alike now run in Spicy Studio

The Tools panel in Spicy Studio now lists every tool, grouped into From an image, From a video and People & faces, with the price on every tool that runs from the panel. Pick a tool, then choose one of your results or upload a file.

    New in Studio:

    ToolPrice
Face swap, photo$0.013 per image (Standard), $0.16 (Plus or Pro)
Face swap, video$0.0325 per second, billed in 8-second blocks
    Head swap, photo$0.013 per image
Head swap or character swap, video$0.08 to find who is in the clip, then from $0.064 per second
Look-alike: send a portrait, get back a picture of the famous face it most resembles$0.05 per image
Extend a clip by 5 or 8 secondsFrom $0.038 per second of new footage
    • Face swap on photos comes in three levels. Standard is quick and keeps the hair and head shape of your photo, Plus matches skin tone and decides for each photo whether to move the face alone or the whole head, and Pro keeps the most facial detail.
    • Head and character swap on video run in two steps. Studio first finds everyone in the clip, you pick who to replace, and only then does the swap run. If the first step finds no one, it is refunded and nothing else runs.

The first time you use a tool that works on a real person's face, talking avatar and lip sync included, Studio asks you to agree to three rules: use only your own face or the faces of people who said yes, never use a photo of anyone under 18, and never use it to pass yourself off as someone else or to mislead anyone. Your answer is remembered on that device.

The Studio canvas is now a full-screen editor: add nodes anywhere, build on any result, prompt in place

Open a canvas from Canvas and it now fills the screen, with a dot grid, your shots as nodes and the controls around the edges.

    • Add a node anywhere. Double-click or right-click empty space, press + in the bottom toolbar, or press N. Add an image, a video, an edit, a note or a four-shot scene, or bring in an upload, a result from My work, a template, a style or an effect.
    • Build on any result. Pictures and clips have a + on the right that opens Generate from this node: make a video from a picture, edit it or give it a new look, turn a clip's last frame into a picture, or run any tool that works on it. Prompt nodes have a + on the left that adds an input: an upload, something from My work or another node on the canvas.
    • Plan before you run. Connect an image node to a video node and the video starts from that image as soon as it is made. The prompt box shows the price of this step and of both together.
    • Prompt in place. Select a prompt node and its prompt box opens right beside it, with the model, references, style and settings, and the price on the send button. Connected pictures are numbered, so you can type @ to point at one, for example @image2. With video models that take an end frame, choose whether two pictures are the first and last frame or references.
    • One toolbar. Select, hand, library, My work, tools, undo and redo sit in the bar at the bottom; zoom, fit to screen and the mini map are in the corner. The lines between nodes and the storyboard view are switches at the top.

Nothing runs until you press generate, and every run shows its price first.

  11. Product

Studio shows every aspect ratio and length a model offers, and video templates now play sample clips

The prompt box in Spicy Studio no longer squeezes every model into four shapes and three lengths. It shows what the model you picked actually accepts.

    • Aspect ratios as numbers. Every ratio the model takes is listed, from 1:1 and 4:5 through 9:16 to 21:9, each with a small frame drawn to scale. If the model can choose the shape itself or follow your photo, Auto comes first.
    • Every supported length. Up to seven lengths appear as buttons; wider ranges get a slider. If the model offers Auto length, Studio shows the longest the clip can run.
    • Switch models without starting over. If the new model doesn't offer your ratio or length, Studio moves to the closest one and tells you what it changed.
    • Video templates you can preview. All 20 video templates now have a real sample clip that plays when you hover over the card. Each was made with MiniMax H3 from the template's own prompt, and MiniMax H3 is the model the template opens on. The template library also switches between Images and Videos.
    • Style cards keep their subject when you hover, so you compare looks, not people.
  12. Product

Spicy Studio is open: image, video, styles, effects and a storyboard canvas in one workspace

Spicy Studio opened on 26 September at spicyapi.ai/create. Same models and same per-run prices as the API, in a workspace made for creating rather than integrating.

    • One line, then Generate. Pick Image or Video, write what you want to see, or press Tab to use the example. Each mode opens on a sensible model and you can switch at any time; your prompt comes with you. The price on the button is the most the run can cost, and nothing is charged until you press it.
    • 97 looks, 4 finishes and 12 effects. A look wraps your subject in tested wording for light, colour and medium — film, editorial, anime, painting, 3D and an After Dark set — and shows the full prompt before you run. It adds nothing to the price. An effect turns one photo into a finished shot: push-ins, orbits, drone rises, rain, snow, a 16mm look.
    • 150 templates in 13 groups. Each is a finished brief with the set, light and lens written; you only say who is in the frame.
    • Canvas for pieces with more than one shot. Branch any frame into a video, an edit or variations, turn the last frame of a clip into the start of the next, then group takes into scenes and play them back as a storyboard. Example projects show every prompt and can be copied whole.
    • Tools on every result: the eight new tools, from background removal to lip sync, sit next to Make it move and Variations.
    • Enhance rewrites a one-line idea into a detailed prompt for the chosen model before it runs, billed separately at the small price shown on the button.
    • Private by default. Nothing is published to a feed or gallery. Results stay in My work for 14 days, uploads are deleted after one day, and a blur switch hides results until you tap them.

You can browse, load examples and see exact prices without an account; you need one to generate, and your draft is kept while you sign up. Every run in Studio is also an API call with the same parameters, so a look you settle here moves straight into code.

The site header changed with it: Models · Studio · Rankings · Developers · Pricing. The model collections that used to sit under Explore are now under Collections in the Models menu.
