    The square option out of the eight ratios, chosen because the composition is symmetrical: one figure each side of a fogged partition, a single wiped palm-print on the centre line. Almost everything else is asked to dissolve into condensation and lamp haze, so the frame is carried by one sharp patch against a soft field. `aspect_ratio` is `1:1`; a wider shape would put empty glass on both flanks and break the symmetry the brief is built on.
