금잔화 꽃잎이 흩날리는 궁전 안뜰의 몬순 빗속 춤

Monsoon rain pours into the courtyard of a grand Indian palace at dusk: carved sandstone arches, a marble floor shining with water, brass lamps flickering in the alcoves, and clouds of orange and yellow marigold petals swirling through the rain. A circle of drummers in white kurtas beats large dhol drums around the edge of the courtyard. In the centre a woman in her early thirties dances in the rain, wearing an emerald-green silk saree draped over one shoulder with a matching cropped blouse that shows her waistline, gold bangles and earrings, her long dark hair swinging. She spins with her arms raised through the falling petals, then turns to the camera and smiles as one hand slides slowly along her waist. Slow orbiting camera at a low angle, warm lamplight against blue storm light, cinematic.
