Wan 2.2 Spicy turns one opening frame into a five- or eight-second clip, with an optional closing frame that pins the ending or closes a loop. On 25 September 2026 it rendered every one of our content-ladder runs exactly as asked from L1 Suggestive (lingerie, a slipping strap) through L2 Mature themes, L3 Strong and L4 Intense (an intimate scene between two adults); both L5 Extreme probes — L5a (consensual restraint and impact play between adults) and L5b (cinematic gore) — came back softened rather than refused. Image-to-video is its only task, 480p starts at $0.019 per second, and there is no content declaration anywhere in the request.

The verdict

Pick it when you have a still and want the cheapest uncensored clip on the Wan line: three seconds costs $0.057, and the closing frame is the one feature base Wan 2.2 doesn't have at all. Skip it when your brief sits at the harder end of the ladder and needs to render rather than soften, when you need a prompt-only start (there's no text-to-video task here), or when you're loading your own LoRA files, which this endpoint doesn't accept. Our Wan uncensored test covers the rest of the line side by side.

How it scores. The Spicy Index is mostly output quality — public blind leaderboards plus our own blind output test — with specs contributing 15% of the quality-and-capability base before the Freedom Score is included. Both it and the Freedom Score are on this page's score card, recalculated as runs are added; see How far it goes for what the 25 September rounds actually tested.

  • Price: $0.019 per second at 480p and $0.038 at 720p; a 5-second clip is $0.095 at 480p, an 8-second clip is $0.152.
  • Limits: image-to-video only, 5 or 8 seconds per take, 480p or 720p, no sound, no LoRA input.

What we liked and what held it back

What we liked

  • The cheapest uncensored clip on the Wan line. $0.019 per second at 480p; a 5-second clip is $0.095, less than a quarter of base Wan 2.2's flat $0.24 for the same length.
  • It passed L1 through L4 with nothing added or covered. Three runs at each rung on 25 September, all delivered as asked.
  • A closing frame, not just an opening one. The optional last_image_url field pins the exact frame the clip has to end on, useful for chaining a sequence or closing a loop; base Wan 2.2 has no such field.
  • 8-second clips. Base Wan 2.2 is fixed at 5 seconds; Spicy adds the option to go to 8.
  • No content declaration. Nothing in the request marks the job as mature; the still and prompt drive the whole result.

What held it back

  • The hardest rung softens rather than renders. Both L5 Extreme probes came back softened on 25 September: the restraint/impact probe replaced the requested action three runs out of four, and the gore probe left the wound out of frame in all three runs.
  • No LoRA support. For your own trained weights, use Wan 2.2 Spicy LoRA instead.
  • No text-to-video. Every run needs a starting still; there is no prompt-only task on this endpoint.
  • No sound. The catalogue lists no audio output and there's no toggle to add one.
  • Silent, and no aspect-ratio field. The clip inherits the still's shape; crop the input first.

What the clips look like

The gallery holds published, safe-for-work examples from the Wan 2.2 Spicy model page, shown as rendered. Our ladder test clips aren't shown; we report the results only.

A moonlit turn, opening to closing frame. From a still of her lying with her back to camera, the closing frame pins the pose she has to land in: turned toward the lens, eyes lit gold. The eight seconds in between are the model's to fill, and it lands on the pinned frame exactly.

Everyday motion, no wardrobe change. In the gym clip she straightens up off a bench, wipes her collarbone and catches her breath as dawn light crosses the concrete — three small, physical beats inside five seconds, nothing added beyond what the prompt asked for.

The ladder clips, as results only. From our L1 through L4 stills, each rung came back at the level asked, nothing covered and nothing swapped in. Both L5 Extreme probes came back softened: the restraint/impact brief had its central action replaced, and the gore brief kept the aftermath but left the wound itself out of frame.

Prompts that worked

Wan 2.2 Spicy reads the still as the baseline and the prompt as instructions for what happens next. Name the beats in order, note what the camera does, and mention wardrobe only if it should stay on through the whole clip; the model already knows what's on screen from the frame itself.

1. Opening frame to a pinned closing frame (720p, 8 s). The exact prompt behind the wolf clip. last_image_url carries the final frame; drop it for a clip that simply plays out from the still.

text
Start on her back, wolf ears and bare shoulders in moonlight, and end on the supplied final frame: she looks back over her shoulder, irises gone gold. Bare back and wolf ears in the moonlight, shoulder blades shifting as she turns. Cinematic, shallow depth of field, heavy film grain, moon silver and forest black.

2. Everyday motion, no closing frame (480p, 5 s). The exact prompt behind the gym clip: small physical beats, in order.

text
She lowers her leg off the bench, rolls her shoulders back and straightens up, wiping sweat from her collarbone with the back of her wrist, chest rising as she catches her breath. Dawn light shifts across the concrete, dust drifting in the beam.

3. A slow approach toward camera (720p, 5 s). The exact prompt behind the crawl clip: eyeline and expression spelled out in order.

text
She crawls one slow pace closer toward the viewer, weight shifting onto the reaching hand, the open white shirt sliding further down off her shoulder. She draws her fingertip away from her lip, tips her head to the side and holds the viewer's gaze, then breaks into a slow half smile. Her hair swings forward. Warm lamp glow on the left, cold blue window behind, no camera move, shallow focus, quiet room tone.

How far it goes

On 25 September 2026 we ran three tries at each rung of our content ladder against one still: L1 Suggestive, L2 Mature themes, L3 Strong and L4 Intense all came back exactly as asked, twelve runs, nothing softened and nothing refused. The L5 Extreme restraint/impact probe, run four times across two test dates, rendered once and came back softened the other three, replacing the requested action with something milder. The L5 Extreme gore probe came back softened all three times, keeping the aftermath but leaving the wound itself out of frame. The page label is Uncensored: we add no content filter on our side, and nothing here was refused outright.

Freedom Score: on this page's score card, recalculated as runs are added.

Make the still with an image model that goes as far as you need; Wan 2.2 Spicy will carry that level through L4 without adding or covering anything, and will soften rather than refuse at the harder L5 probes.

Not tested yet: the 8-second duration on our ladder clips (every ladder run we inspected was 5 seconds); 720p on the ladder (every ladder run was 480p); a closing frame on a ladder clip; real photographs as the still (every still was AI-generated); anime and illustrated stills.

Adults only, in every still, prompt and output. Never depict a real, identifiable person without their consent.
