LTX 2.3 Spicy LoRA is a single image-to-video endpoint: the same uncensored contract as the plain LTX 2.3 Spicy family, plus a built-in style LoRA preset that ships with every request and a loras field for dialing up to three of that preset's named keys by their own strength. Between 15 and 25 September 2026 we ran our content ladder: L1 Suggestive (lingerie, a slipping strap) and L3 Strong rendered clean on every run; L2 Mature themes rendered clean once out of three and softened the rest; L4 Intense (an intimate scene between two adults) rendered clean twice out of three; the L5 Extreme restraint/impact probe rendered clean three times out of four; the L5 Extreme gore probe softened on all three runs we tried.

The verdict

The one control this endpoint adds over the plain version is strength. preset picks between the tuned default and the model's original, undoctored look, and loras lets you push up to three of the preset's built-in style keys toward or away from that look, each on its own 0-to-2 scale. Nothing here accepts an external weight file — the LoRAs are named, built into the endpoint, and strength is what you're actually adjusting.

Pick it when the built-in style presets are part of the point and you want to fine-tune how strongly they show. If you'd never touch that control, LTX 2.3 Spicy runs the identical content and pricing shape without paying for the extra fields.

Key facts

  • Pass rate: 12 of 19 ladder runs on 15-25 Sep 2026 came back clean; the misses were 2 of 3 L2 Mature themes runs, 1 of 3 L4 Intense runs, 1 of 4 L5 Extreme restraint/impact runs and all 3 L5 Extreme gore runs, all softened rather than refused.
  • Price: $0.0285 per second at 480p, $0.0475 at 720p, $0.0665 at 1080p.
  • Limits: image-to-video only, 3 to 20 whole seconds, 480p to 1080p, opening frame required, prompt optional, up to three built-in LoRA keys per request at strength 0 to 2, no external weight files accepted.
  • Sources: every scored run is in the LTX 2.3 Spicy LoRA test report, the scoring rules are on our review methodology page, and the full parameter list is on the LTX 2.3 Spicy LoRA model page.

What we liked and what held it back

What we liked

  • Strength control over a built-in style, not a black box. loras names one of the preset's built-in keys and a strength from 0 to 2; in our own test, one override at strength 1 pushed a neon-circuit look further without a prompt rewrite.
  • A tuned default that holds a flat, stylised look. With no overrides at all, a flat 1950s gouache travel-poster still stayed a painted illustration through five seconds of motion — umbrella canopy rippling, gulls gliding — rather than sliding toward photographic rendering.
  • L1 Suggestive and L3 Strong were dependable. Both rendered clean on every one of our runs between 15 and 25 September.
  • The prompt is optional. Send only the opening frame and the built-in preset and the model infers plausible small motion, which is useful for batching stills with no per-shot direction.
  • A strength ceiling you can find on purpose. Pinning the seed and pushing a key to 2 — the top of the allowed range — is a documented way to see exactly where a style starts to take over the frame.

What held it back

  • L2 Mature themes softened more often than the harder rungs around it. It cleared once out of three runs, while L1 Suggestive and L3 Strong on either side both cleared on every try — a reminder that softening doesn't move in a straight line as the ladder gets stronger.
  • The gore probe never rendered as written. All three L5 Extreme gore runs came back softened; if a brief specifically needs a harmful action shown rather than implied, this isn't the endpoint for it.
  • No external LoRA files. Every style comes from the endpoint's own built-in keys; if you have a trained weight file of your own, this family can't load it.
  • One task only. Image-to-video alone, no text-to-video, no video-extend on this endpoint.
  • The extra control costs a little more than the plain version for the same content and duration range. Skip it if you'll always leave loras empty.

What the clips look like

The gallery holds published, safe-for-work examples from the LTX 2.3 Spicy LoRA model page. Our content-ladder runs aren't shown; we report those results in prose.

A built-in preset with no overrides. A flat 1950s gouache travel poster of a striped umbrella and a turquoise sky comes alive for five seconds — the umbrella ripples, gulls glide, sunglasses lower — while the flat, brushed print texture holds throughout. This is the baseline the loras field is measured against.

A named key at strength 1. Cyan circuit lines pulse along an arm and spine as she completes a turn on a rain-slicked rooftop, holographic billboards flickering behind her — one override at a moderate strength plus a plain motion note.

Pushed to the strength ceiling. A three-second, 480p clip with the seed pinned and a key set to 2, the top of the allowed range — a deliberate stress test for finding where a style starts to dominate the frame rather than sit underneath it.

The built-in preset applied to a whole scene. Two people at the edge of an unmade bed are pushed to a full 1990s VHS look: scan lines, tape wobble and chroma bleed take over the frame from the opening still onward.

Prompts that worked

Since a style preset is already attached to every request, the prompt only has to carry motion and, when you're using loras, a short cue about the effect you want strengthened. Naming the era or medium in the prompt as well as loading a key tends to reinforce it rather than fight it.

1. A named key with a motion note.

text
The glowing cyan circuits along her arms and spine pulse in sequence as she completes the turn, holographic billboards flickering behind her, rain hissing on the rooftop. Slow arc around her silhouette, volumetric neon fog.

2. No overrides, just the default preset.

text
The painted illustration comes alive without losing its flat printed look: the striped umbrella canopy ripples in the sea breeze, her hair lifts and the gulls glide across the turquoise sky. She lowers her sunglasses with one finger.

Weak: loading a key at strength 2 with no motion description at all — you'll see the style dominate but nothing will actually move with purpose. Strong: prompt 1, which pairs a moderate strength with a specific, sequenced action.

How far it goes

Between 15 and 25 September 2026 we ran our five-rung content ladder on this endpoint's one published task. L1 Suggestive and L3 Strong rendered clean on every run. L2 Mature themes rendered clean once out of three, with the other two softened. L4 Intense rendered clean twice out of three. The L5 Extreme restraint/impact probe rendered clean three times out of four. The L5 Extreme gore probe softened on all three runs — this endpoint did not deliver a requested harmful action as written on any attempt.

The page label is Uncensored: we add no content filter on our side. This is the same content shape as the plain LTX 2.3 Spicy endpoint; the loras field changes how a scene looks, not how far the content ladder goes.

Not tested yet: whether loading a built-in key changes how often L2 Mature themes or the gore probe soften; scenes with two women or two men; anime or illustrated styles combined with a LoRA override.

Adults only, in every prompt, still and output. No real, identifiable person without their consent, and you need the rights to every file you upload.

Loading a built-in LoRA key

preset chooses between the tuned default look and the model's original, undoctored rendering; loras then takes up to three entries, each naming one of this series' built-in keys with a strength from 0 to 2, applied on top of whichever preset you picked. There are no external weight files here — unlike a bring-your-own-URL LoRA endpoint, every available style is already loaded on the server, and strength is what you're actually setting.

Our two documented cases both cleared without trouble: one key at strength 1 gave a rooftop scene its neon-circuit look without any prompt rewrite, and pinning the seed while pushing a key to strength 2 — the schema's ceiling — is a way to find where a look starts to take over the frame rather than sit underneath the action. Since the keys are named by the endpoint rather than uploaded by you, check the live schema for what's currently available before you build a request around a specific look.

Alternatives

  • The same content and price shape without the LoRA controls? LTX 2.3 Spicy runs the identical uncensored contract from $0.019 a second, one field lighter.
  • Bring-your-own external LoRA files instead of built-in keys? Wan 2.2 Spicy LoRA accepts direct weight URLs and adds a video-extend task.
  • A top rung that cleared more consistently in our own testing? Wan 2.7 Spicy passed every rung we ran, including both L5 Extreme probe types, though it costs more per second and caps at 15 seconds.
  • More resolution tiers on a single still? MiniMax H3 Spicy covers 480p through 1080p from $0.038 a second.
