P-Video 2 Pro is Pruna AI's speed-first video model, released on 17 September 2026. It makes clips of 5 to 15 seconds at 480p or 768p with a soundtrack generated in the same pass, from a prompt, from an opening and closing frame, or from reference videos and audio. SpicyAPI serves it as three endpoints: text-to-video, image-to-video and reference-to-video.

The verdict

On 17 October 2026 we ran our content test on all three endpoints at low-cost settings: 480p, 5 seconds, cost mode, prompt rewriting off. Nothing was refused. Requests up to Strong came back as written on every endpoint we tried; the single request we sent at the Maximum level was toned down, and the model drew a softer scene rather than failing. That is a limit of the model, not a filter: SpicyAPI adds none, and the page label is Uncensored.

Pick it when you want many takes quickly: in our runs a 5-second clip took roughly 10 to 20 seconds of generation time, and every clip arrived with sound. Look elsewhere if you need 1080p, clips longer than 15 seconds, or Maximum-level requests delivered as written.

How it scores. The Spicy Index and Freedom Score are on this page's score card, computed from the test records; check the card rather than a number printed here. The Spicy Index is still preliminary because the blind test for this model has not run yet.

Key facts

  • Content limits: no filter on prompts, images or results. Strong and below delivered as written; Maximum toned down; no refusals in 13 runs on 17 October 2026.
  • Clip length and size: any whole number of seconds from 5 to 15; 480p (832 x 480 at 16:9) or 768p; seven aspect ratios on text-to-video, and image-to-video follows the opening frame. Output is 24 fps.
  • Sound: every clip carries a generated AAC soundtrack: ambience, effects and any line you put in quotes. On reference-to-video your own audio can replace it.
  • Modes: generation_mode is cost, speed or quality (reference-to-video offers cost and speed). They are price tiers set by Pruna.
  • References: an opening and a closing frame, up to 3 reference videos (15 seconds in total) and up to 3 audio clips (15 seconds in total).
  • Price: billed per second of output, by resolution and mode; reference-to-video also bills reference-video seconds. The model page shows the current price.

What we liked and what held it back

What we liked

  • Fast. About 10 to 20 seconds of generation for a 5-second clip at 480p in our content runs, so trying several takes costs little time.
  • Sound included. Ambience, effects and quoted lines come with the picture, with no separate audio step.
  • Three ways in. Text, frames or reference clips, with the same parameters for mode, resolution and length.
  • Pins the start and the end. In the published frame-to-video example the clip begins on the opening frame and lands on the closing one.
  • Borrows a camera move. In the reference example the camera copies the slow push-in of the reference clip, while the scene itself comes from the opening image.

What held it back

  • The Maximum level is toned down. The one Maximum-level request we sent rendered softer than asked, on text-to-video.
  • No 1080p and a 15-second ceiling. Output stops at 768p.
  • Reference-to-video is picky. Reference images other than the opening and closing frame are not available; reference audio needs an opening frame or a reference video too; reference videos must be at least 2 seconds long. An upstream fault with several reference images in one request meant we could not test that path, and the endpoint does not offer it.
  • Sound is hit and miss. In the published frame-to-video example the soundtrack is crowd applause rather than distinct firework bangs, and in the reference example it is very quiet.

What the clips look like

The gallery holds the four published examples from the P-Video 2 Pro model page, all at 768p and 5 seconds, all clothed and safe for work. Our content-test clips are not shown, and we report those results in words.

From text, with its own sound. One continuous shot drifts gently toward two people at a bar; the line "Same as last summer?" is spoken clearly near the end, after a music bed in the first half.

From frames. The clip starts exactly on the opening frame and lands on the closing frame while fireworks start about a second and a half in. The camera holds the same framing throughout.

From a reference clip. The pier, the launch and the woman come from the opening image; only the camera move comes from the reference video.

Vertical. A 9:16 handheld-style clip from text, one of the seven aspect ratios.

How far it goes

SpicyAPI adds no content filter. On 17 October 2026 we tested all three endpoints with adult fictional subjects, at 480p, 5 seconds, cost mode and prompt rewriting off, and checked every result by eye. Levels run Mild, Moderate, Strong, Very strong and Maximum; we do not publish the test prompts. Readings are delivered, toned down or refused.

EndpointResult
Text-to-videoDelivered at Moderate and Strong; the Maximum request toned down
Image-to-videoDelivered, including a clip that moved from one frame to a different closing frame
Reference-to-videoDelivered with an opening frame, with a reference video and with reference audio

No run was refused or blocked. Three requests failed for reasons unrelated to content: several reference images in one request failed upstream, and a request with audio only is rejected because the endpoint needs an image or video reference.

Adults only, in every prompt and every source image. Never use a real person's likeness without consent, never depict anyone who could read as a minor, and keep your outputs private unless you have the right to share them.
