P-Video 2 Pro went live on SpicyAPI on 17 October 2026, and its own review points to MiniMax H3 when you need more freedom at the top end. Both can make NSFW video, but they win on different things: P-Video on speed and price, H3 on how far the scene goes.
Short answer: use P-Video 2 Pro to iterate. A 5-second clip at 480p costs $0.06 and took roughly 10 to 20 seconds to generate in our tests. Use MiniMax H3 for the final render when the scene is intense. In our September tests H3 delivered every adult clip on the ladder, including the intimate-scene and extreme probes. P-Video toned down its one Maximum request.

P-Video 2 Pro: fast and cheap for drafts
P-Video's cheap tiers are the reason to open it. A 5-second clip at 480p in cost mode is $0.06. Speed mode costs $0.024 per second at 480p and $0.042 at 768p, and quality mode costs $0.048 at 480p and $0.09 at 768p.
On a like-for-like basis at 768p, P-Video's cost mode is $0.15 for 5 seconds against H3's $0.185. The gap is small. The bigger difference is in the top tiers: P-Video's quality mode at 768p is $0.09 per second, well above H3's $0.037.
Speed is the other reason. A 5-second clip took roughly 10 to 20 seconds of generation time. That is quick enough to change a prompt and run it again several times before you pay for a final render.
Here is a published image-to-video example from P-Video 2 Pro. It is the kind of scene you can test at 480p first:
Is P-Video 2 Pro uncensored? It carries the Uncensored label: SpicyAPI adds no filter. In our 17 October test we ran 13 requests across all three endpoints at 480p, 5 seconds, cost mode, with prompt rewriting off. None were refused.
| Endpoint | Result |
|---|---|
| Text-to-video | Moderate and Strong delivered as written; the one Maximum request came back toned down |
| Image-to-video | Delivered, including a clip that moved from one frame to a different closing frame |
| Reference-to-video | Delivered with an opening frame, with a reference video and with reference audio |
The toned-down Maximum clip was a softer scene, not a failure. We have no separate Very strong reading for P-Video, so the table does not claim one.
Sound is part of every P-Video clip. The model adds ambience, effects and any line you put in quotes. Sound is hit and miss, though. In one published example the soundtrack is crowd applause rather than distinct firework bangs, and in the reference example it is very quiet. On reference-to-video you can replace it with your own audio.
Resolution stops at 768p. If you need a sharper master, P-Video will not give it to you.
MiniMax H3: the range at the top end
H3 costs a little more than P-Video's cost mode, but it delivered more of the ladder. Our September test used the Suggestive (L1) to Extreme (L5) ladder and covered text, image and reference inputs.
| Level | Adult clips delivered |
|---|---|
| L1 Suggestive | 2 of 2 |
| L3 Strong | 5 of 5 |
| L4 Intense (an intimate scene between two adults) | 3 of 3, one also at 2k |
| L5a Extreme probe | 2 of 2 |
On the L4 and L5a clips, H3 held the action for the full clip instead of cutting away. That is the main reason it is our pick for the strongest scenes. It also goes to 2k, and P-Video does not.
MiniMax H3 has no seed control. Two text-only runs with the same prompt can give you two different people, so lock the casting with an image-to-video still before you render the final take.
H3 Spicy is a different build. It takes an image and no prompt is needed: it animates a still on its own. In our tests it delivered 14 of 15 adult clips, and the one that did not match was an L4 that softened. H3 Spicy has no sound option, so you will add audio later if you need it.
Here is a published H3 Spicy image-to-video example:
MiniMax H3 Max is a different model. It refused or softened L4 in our tests, so do not use it for this kind of scene.
Sound and resolution side by side
Both P-Video and H3 generate sound. P-Video adds a soundtrack to every clip, and its quality is hit and miss. H3 Spicy has no sound option at all. For resolution, H3 goes to 2k and P-Video stops at 768p. The 1080p tier on H3 Spicy is an upscale of its 768p canvas, not a native 1080p render.
A workflow that uses both
Iterate the prompt and the timing on P-Video at 480p, where a run costs $0.06 for 5 seconds. When you have the strongest take, render it on H3 at 768p, or use H3 Spicy to animate the still you picked. That keeps your test spend low and puts the expensive render only on the scene you want.
Our two tests were run on different dates and on different prompt sets. Both use five-step ladders from suggestive to extreme, but P-Video's levels are named Mild, Moderate, Strong, Very strong and Maximum, while H3's are the September L1 to L5 labels. Treat the side-by-side as a strong pointer, not a lab comparison.

- Animating a still with no prompt: MiniMax H3 Spicy, which has no sound option.
