What this effect sends
This is the full prompt, word for word. Copy it, or open it in the generator and change anything you like.
Within the first second bright morning sun breaks in through blinds just out of frame, and bold stripes of warm light sweep across the scene and up over the person's face. They scrunch their nose, stretch both arms over their head in a big lazy stretch and roll toward the camera. By the fourth second their eyes open and meet the lens with a sleepy, playful grin, the light stripes resting across the cheek. The person stays exactly as they appear in the photo.Pictures that work best
- Use a photo with room above the head. The arms go overhead during the stretch.
- A light, simple background shows the blind stripes more clearly.
- Half-body framing lets the viewer see the stretch and the face together.
- A relaxed starting pose gives a more natural result than a rigid one.

How it works

Add one photo
Choose the photo to match the example: include both people for a shared gesture, and keep the face and any hands involved clearly visible. Upload your own photo or start with a Lazy Morning sample.
- 02
Check the price
Lazy Morning defaults to a 5-second clip for $0.185. Swap the model or change the length and resolution before you run — the price on the button updates to match, and that's the whole cost of the clip.

Your Lazy Morning clip renders in the background, lands in History and is never published.
Do the move yourself
Lazy Morning keeps one version of this shot. To give Lazy Morning your own motion or ending, write it yourself in Image to Video, starting from the prompt above.
What it does to your photo
Within the first second bright morning sun breaks in through blinds just out of frame, and bold stripes of warm light sweep across the scene and up over the person's face. They scrunch their nose, stretch both arms over their head in a big lazy stretch and roll toward the camera. By the fourth second their eyes open and meet the lens with a sleepy, playful grin, the light stripes resting across the cheek. The person stays exactly as they appear in your photo throughout.
In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a woman with a short dark bob in blue striped pajamas, asleep in white bedding by a window blind, was hit by stripes of warm morning sun within the first second, scrunched her nose and stretched both arms high over her head by second three, and by second four opened her eyes to the lens with a sleepy grin. In a second run, a man with dark curly hair and a beard lay in a sunlit white room striped with light through the blinds, stretched both arms high over his head by second two, and rolled toward the camera with his hands behind his head, ending on a sleepy, playful grin into the lens.
Photos of someone lying or leaning in a bright room, with space for the arms to stretch overhead, work best. Soft bedding or a plain wall shows the light stripes cleanly. A photo where both arms are hidden or the person is standing stiffly makes the stretch less natural. Tight face crops leave no room for the arm movement. The effect leaves the person exactly as they are in your photo and only adds the motion, light and atmosphere.
It runs on MiniMax H3 for five seconds by default, and H3 itself goes up to 15 seconds and 2K if you want more. Studio also lets you move the same prompt to another model before you generate, such as Seedance 2.0 or Wan 3.0, and the price on the Generate button updates with every change. Our samples were all made on MiniMax H3, so other models will read the prompt in their own way.
Good for cozy lifestyle clips, morning-routine posts, and playful portraits.
Open the prompt in the generator and change "a big lazy stretch" to "a small, sleepy stretch" for a quieter move, or "a sleepy, playful grin" to "a soft, contented smile" for a calmer ending.
