Needs both faces visible, and chest-up framing works best. Side-by-side people with a little space between them give room to lean in. Photos where one person is turned away or hidden lose the laugh. Full-length shots make the faces small for the final push-in. The effect leaves both people exactly as they are in your photo and only adds the motion.
