HappyHorse 1.1 image-to-video animates your opening frame from a prompt describing the movement that follows. Clips run 3 to 15 whole seconds at 720p or 1080p with generated sound, and the frame sets the shape.

Filtering differs by endpoint: Image to video — Uncensored, Reference to video — Uncensored, Text to video — Filtered.

The opening frame sets subject, wardrobe and shape

HappyHorse 1.1 image-to-video animates a supplied opening frame into one 3 to 15 second clip at 720p or 1080p. Both image_url and prompt are required, and the endpoint has no aspect_ratio field, so the picture you send fixes the subject, the wardrobe and the shape of the output. It is an uncensored endpoint: the platform adds no content filter layer of its own on top of the model.

Literal path
The frame is the source of truthSubject, wardrobe, staging and composition all arrive with the picture, so none of them depend on how well a sentence describes them. That is what makes this the endpoint to use when a result has to match something that already exists.
No ratio field
Shape comes in with the picturetext-to-video and reference-to-video both expose aspect_ratio; image-to-video has no such field. Whatever proportions the opening frame has are the proportions the clip comes back in, so cropping happens before the request and not inside it.
Uncensored

What the HappyHorse 1.1 image-to-video API does well

The prompt is required here too

The prompt is required here too

image_url on its own is not a valid request: prompt is required alongside it, and that is where the movement gets described. Nothing applies a default motion to a still, so a frame sent with a thin prompt usually comes back as a clip where almost nothing happens.

Output shape follows the frame

Output shape follows the frame

With no aspect_ratio field, the proportions of the image carry into the clip. The accepted window runs from 1:2.5 to 2.5:1, which covers a 9:16 vertical and a 21:9 wide, and each side has to be at least 300 px. Crop to the delivery shape before you upload, because nothing in the request can do it afterwards.

  • Uncensored source frames

No content filter layer is added by the platform between this endpoint and the model, and uncensored opening frames are accepted. For uncensored work that makes it the literal path: the picture carries the wardrobe and the staging, and the prompt only has to describe what moves.

  • No closing-frame field

Only the first frame is fixed. No HappyHorse 1.1 endpoint takes a final frame, so the ending follows from how the prompt paces the movement. Ask for a move that can finish inside the seconds you requested, and cut to a specific closing composition in the edit instead.

  • One frame, several motion tests

Keep the prompt, seed, duration and resolution unchanged, then vary one setting at a time. On image-based tasks, reuse the same source images. Compare the staging and motion across a few takes to see whether the change helps.

  • A still goes in, a clip with sound comes out

image-to-video has no audio field either, yet the returned clip carries sound generated alongside the picture. The still brings no sound of its own, so add the ambience you want to the movement description, and drop the track in the edit when the shot is going under a different mix.

Who HappyHorse 1.1 image-to-video is for

  • Animate exactly what was signed off

    Brand and product teams

Animate exactly what was signed off

A composition that has already been approved stays approved: the frame carries it, and no ratio parameter can reshape it during generation. The prompt only adds motion, which keeps the review conversation about the movement and away from the layout.

  • Carry a likeness without describing it

    Creators working from one photo

Carry a likeness without describing it

A face, a hairstyle and an outfit come in with the picture, which is far more dependable than reaching for the same result through wording. Send the frame at 300 px or more on each side, keep it inside the 1:2.5 to 2.5:1 window, and let the prompt handle the action.

  • An uncensored route driven by the frame

    Uncensored and companion content

An uncensored route driven by the frame

This endpoint has no platform-added content filter, and an uncensored opening frame is accepted. Uncensored work gains twice over: the picture decides the wardrobe and the staging, and the whole prompt budget goes to movement instead of to describing the subject.

  • Three prompts against one still

    Iterative concepting

    Three prompts against one still

Hold the frame and vary the movement: a slow push in, a head turn, a shift in the light. Each run is a separate task with its own estimate, and the still keeps every take anchored to the same composition, which makes the comparison honest.

How to call the HappyHorse 1.1 image-to-video API

  1. Crop the opening frame first

The picture sets the output shape, so crop to the delivery format before uploading. Each side needs at least 300 px, the proportions have to sit between 1:2.5 and 2.5:1, and the file can run up to 20 MB.

  2. Write the prompt as what happens next

Describe action, camera movement and pacing. The frame already carries subject, wardrobe and composition, so spending the prompt on those details takes room away from the only part the model still has to work out.

  3. Set duration_seconds between 3 and 15

Whole seconds only, and there is no closing-frame field, so ask for a movement that can resolve inside the window you choose. Short holds read well here; a longer sequence needs the prompt to say what happens in each part of it.

  4. Choose resolution before you submit

720p and 1080p are the two values, and this field and duration_seconds are what move the estimate. Draft at 720p while the movement is still being decided, then run the take you want at 1080p as its own submission.

  5. Collect the result from the task

The endpoint runs asynchronously: submit, keep the task id, then poll or take the callback. Save image_url, prompt, the settings and seed together with each selected take.

HappyHorse 1.1 image-to-video examples

  • Animating a product hero still

A near-static prompt keeps a product shot recognizable while adding just enough motion for it to read as video, which is usually all an approved still needs.

The camera holds steady as steam begins to rise from the cup in frame, the surface trembling slightly, warm morning light shifting subtly across the table.
  • A quiet character beat from one portrait

Small, deliberate motion works well on this endpoint, because the frame already carries the full composition and the prompt can spend itself on one gesture.

She slowly turns her head toward the window, exhaling, eyes narrowing slightly against the light, almost no other movement in the frame.
  • A slow push-in on an establishing shot

Naming the camera's exact arc, from the wide frame to one specific detail, gives the model an unambiguous instruction to follow over the whole duration.

The camera pushes in gradually from the wide shot toward the building's entrance as light rain begins, awnings rippling in the wind.

HappyHorse 1.1 image-to-video questions

Pick and crop the opening frame first: it fixes the subject, the wardrobe, the composition and, with no aspect_ratio field on this endpoint, the shape of the clip as well. Then write the prompt as what changes after that frame, covering action, camera movement and pacing. There is no closing-frame field either, so ask for a movement that can finish inside the 3 to 15 seconds you request, and cut to a specific final composition in the edit.
