HappyHorse 1.1 reference-to-video drives one shot from one to nine ordered reference images, holding a cast, wardrobe or location steady. Clips run 3 to 15 seconds at 720p or 1080p across nine aspect ratios, with generated sound.

Filtering differs by endpoint: Image to video — Uncensored, Reference to video — Uncensored, Text to video — Filtered.

Up to nine references, one job each, one shot

HappyHorse 1.1 reference-to-video builds one 3 to 15 second clip out of one to nine reference images, each carrying a job that the prompt names by position. Unlike image-to-video, this endpoint keeps aspect_ratio with nine values, and it is uncensored: no content filter layer is added by the platform between the request and the model.

Nine slots

Named by position
The prompt assigns each reference its jobSay what each image contributes, in the order you send them, then describe the shot they should produce together. Roles come out of the prompt text, so an array uploaded without that wording leaves the model guessing which picture is the person and which is the place.

What the HappyHorse 1.1 reference-to-video API does well

Nine reference slots, one job each

Nine reference slots, one job each

reference_image_urls is required and takes one to nine images, read in the order the prompt refers to them. That is enough to pin a character, a wardrobe piece, a prop, a vehicle and a location in a single request, with each element carried by a picture that shows only that element.

aspect_ratio is available here

aspect_ratio is available here

The same nine values as text-to-video, defaulting to 16:9: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 4:5, 5:4, 9:21 and 21:9. image-to-video has no such field at all, so reference-to-video is the endpoint to use when the source pictures exist and the delivery shape is still open.

  • Roles are read from the prompt

The model works out what each reference is for from the wording, so the prompt has to say it: which image is the person, which is the jacket, which is the street. Sending nine pictures under a one-line description leaves the most useful half of the request unsaid.

  • Uncensored reference images

Uncensored references are accepted on this endpoint, with no content filter layer added by the platform and the outcome decided by the model itself. Pictures also carry identity and wardrobe far more dependably than wording does, which is what keeps a series of clips looking like the same cast.

  • One picture per element

Several views of the same subject get averaged into one interpretation instead of combining into a sharper one, so three photographs of a face are worth less than one clear face and two other elements. Treat nine as a ceiling and spend only the slots a scene actually needs.

  • Images only in, generated sound out

This endpoint takes no video or audio reference on input: reference_image_urls holds image URLs only, and the schema rejects anything else. Output is different, since every clip returns with a generated soundtrack that no field switches off. Copying a movement means reducing it to a still frame and describing it in the prompt.

  • Give the bottle, the label and the surface their own slots

    Product and packaging

Give the bottle, the label and the surface their own slots

Photograph each element on its own and let the prompt place them together. One photograph carrying the product, the backdrop and the label at once forces the model to separate them first; three references do that work in advance and leave less to chance.

  • One identity across a series of clips

    Cast and character continuity

One identity across a series of clips

Keep a face reference, a wardrobe reference and a location reference as a fixed set, and reuse that set in every request for the series. Each run is still its own take, but the elements that have to stay recognizable arrive as pictures instead of adjectives.

An uncensored route driven by images

The platform adds no content filter layer of its own here, and uncensored references are accepted. For uncensored work the reference set is what holds a character steady between clips, which wording alone does not manage across a long series.

  • Nine slots for an art-directed scene

    Prop and location-heavy shots

Nine slots for an art-directed scene

A motorcycle, a jacket, a helmet, a stretch of road and the person riding can each arrive as their own picture. Scenes that would otherwise need a long descriptive paragraph become a short prompt over a well-chosen reference set.

How to call the HappyHorse 1.1 reference-to-video API

  1. Decide what each reference contributes

Identity, wardrobe, prop, vehicle, location: settle one job per image before writing anything. The prompt has to state those jobs, and a reference set assembled without that plan is difficult to describe afterwards.

  2. Order the images the way the prompt will read them

reference_image_urls is a required array of one to nine URLs, and it is read in the order you send it. Keep that order stable between runs so the wording that worked once keeps working on the next clip.

  3. Name each reference in the prompt

State what each picture contributes, following the order of the array, then describe the shot they should produce together. Roles that go unstated get guessed, and that guess is behind most disappointing results on this endpoint.

  4. Set aspect_ratio if 16:9 is not the shape

Nine values are available on this endpoint, unlike image-to-video where the field does not exist. Set the value whenever the delivery format differs from the default, since it cannot be changed after the render.

  5. Set duration_seconds and resolution

Whole seconds from 3 to 15, and 720p or 1080p. Both fields move the estimate shown before submission, and a longer clip needs a prompt that says what happens in the extra seconds.

  6. Check the reference files before uploading

Shortest side at least 400 px and up to 20 MB per file, in JPEG, PNG or WebP. A small or heavily compressed picture loses detail in exactly the element it was sent to pin down.

HappyHorse 1.1 reference-to-video examples

  • Combining a product with a new setting

Two references with clearly assigned roles: one supplies the object, the other supplies the environment and the light it sits in, and the prompt says which is which.

Place the perfume bottle from the first reference onto the stone ledge shown in the second reference, matching the second reference's light direction and color temperature; the camera holds still as mist settles around the base.
  • Carrying one identity across two costume pieces

Naming exactly which reference supplies which element keeps identity, wardrobe and setting from bleeding into each other across a four-picture set.

Use the woman from the first reference exactly as she appears, wearing the jacket from the second reference and the boots from the third; she walks toward the camera down the alley shown in the fourth reference, streetlights flickering overhead.
  • A vehicle and a location combined into one pass

This is the honest test of the endpoint: an object and a place both have to survive the same shot, with the prompt stating which reference carries which of them.

Place the motorcycle from the first reference on the mountain road shown in the second reference at dusk, camera tracking alongside as the headlight cuts through the mist.

HappyHorse 1.1 reference-to-video questions

Give every reference one job before writing anything: identity, wardrobe, prop, location. Then name those jobs in the prompt in the order the array sends them, and describe the shot they should produce together. Extra views of the same element are averaged into one interpretation, so four clear pictures of four different things beat nine that overlap. Keep the seed and the other inputs fixed when comparing one change.
