Color Smoke AI Video Effect

Violet and magenta smoke bursts up around the person in the dark, billowing in thick slow clouds lit by a hard backlight. The person moves through the smoke as it curls around their arms and hair. They then step forward out of it toward the lens. The effect is moody and cinematic, with the light shaping the smoke.

In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a woman with long straight black hair in a bronze metallic long-sleeved mini dress in a dark backlit studio was engulfed by thick billowing magenta smoke within the first two seconds, then stepped forward out of it toward the lens, ending in front of a glowing pink smoke wall. In a second run, a bearded young man with a swept-back pompadour in a silver satin shirt and black trousers in a dark studio had pink smoke burst up beside him at half a second, was engulfed in thick violet and magenta clouds by second one, and stepped forward out of the backlit smoke toward the lens by the end.

Works best on a standing portrait or three-quarter photo with a dark or plain background, since the backlit smoke needs contrast. A person who can plausibly step forward gives the ending room. Bright, busy backgrounds reduce the effect of the colored smoke. The effect leaves the person exactly as they are in your photo and only adds the motion, light and atmosphere.

It runs on MiniMax H3 for five seconds by default, and H3 itself goes up to 15 seconds and 2K if you want more. Good for music, nightlife and moody portrait clips, and for atmospheric intros.

Change "Violet and magenta smoke" to "Teal and blue smoke" for a cooler look, or change "thick slow clouds" to "thin drifting clouds" for a lighter effect.
