Candlelight AI Video Effect

In the dark, candles ignite one by one in a wide circle around the person. Each new flame adds warm light until they are surrounded by a glowing ring of firelight. The camera circles as the glow rises across their face, and they look into the lens with a slow smile. It is a quiet, warm scene built from light alone.

In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a dark-haired man with stubble in a black satin shirt sitting barefoot on a rug in a dim brick loft watched the candles scattered around him ignite one by one from second one, the warm light rising across his face as the camera eased around him, and ended ringed by glowing firelight, smiling slowly at the lens. In a second run, a young woman with long dark waves in a champagne satin dress sitting on the floorboards of a dark brick loft saw the unlit candles around her begin to catch at second one, light up one after another through second two and a half, and ended in a full ring of firelight with the glow on her face as she gave the lens a slow smile.

Works best on a portrait or full-body photo with a dark or dim background, since the candles need a dark scene to glow. A person with a visible face suits the slow-smile ending. Bright daylight photos reduce the effect of the candle glow. The effect leaves the person exactly as they are in your photo and only adds the motion, light and atmosphere.

It runs on MiniMax H3 for five seconds by default, and H3 itself goes up to 15 seconds and 2K if you want more. Change "wide circle" to "tight circle" for closer candles, or change "slow smile" to "calm look" for a different final expression.
