What this effect sends
This is the full prompt, word for word. Copy it, or open it in the generator and change anything you like.
An enormous hand, as big as a building, reaches down out of the sky into the frame, gently scoops up the main subject in its open palm and lifts them up and out of the scene. The camera stays wide and tilts up slightly to follow the lift.Pictures that work best
- Use a full-body photo, or a photo of an object like a car, shot from a distance - the hand needs your whole subject visible to scoop it up convincingly.
- Avoid pet close-ups and tight portraits; the effect needs open space around the subject for a building-sized hand to read as huge rather than human-sized.
- An outdoor or open setting, like a road, beach or dune, gives the hand somewhere to descend from without competing with a busy background.
- Light-colored or neutral outfits and objects show up clearly against the hand - very dark clothing can blend into its shadow as it closes.

Add one photo
Choose the photo to match the example: include both people for a shared gesture, and keep the face and any hands involved clearly visible. Upload your own photo or start with a Giant Hand sample.
- 02
Check the price
Giant Hand defaults to a 5-second clip for $0.185. Swap the model or change the length and resolution before you run — the price on the button updates to match, and that's the whole cost of the clip.

What it does to your photo
Giant Hand is a scale gag straight out of a monster movie: a hand as big as a building reaches down out of the sky, gently scoops you up in its open palm, and lifts you up and out of the scene.
In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a woman in a long knit dress on sand dunes had a hand many times her size drop in from the sky at the one-second mark; by two seconds she was sitting in its palm, the fingers closed gently around her at three seconds, and the hand lifted her high into the sky until she was a tiny figure by five seconds, her dress staying intact the whole time. We also tried it on an object: a white vintage convertible parked on a desert road. The colossal hand reached down around one second, its fingers landing beside the car, and by two seconds the car sat in the palm; the hand lifted it into the sky like a toy while the camera tilted up, ending on just the hand and the open sky.
Two small things to expect: the giant hand's skin tone won't necessarily match your subject's, since the model builds it as a separate element rather than pulling it from the photo, and on the car it pinched the vehicle between its fingers rather than resting it flat in the palm. Neither breaks the gag, but they're worth knowing going in. Pet close-ups don't suit this effect - an earlier test on a cat showed a normal human-sized hand gripping the animal's body rather than a building-sized hand lifting it gently, so we moved to full-body people and objects instead.
It's a natural fit for playful at-the-mercy-of-fate captions, moving-day or big-decision posts, toy and miniature-style photo series, and any shot that wants a giant-monster-movie punchline. It works on people shown full-body and on objects like cars just as well.
The prompt is public and editable. If you want the hand to set you down gently instead of lifting you out of frame, open it in the generator and change the ending to describe it placing you back down.
