What this effect sends

This is the full prompt, word for word. Copy it, or open it in the generator and change anything you like.

The main subject smiles warmly at the camera and forms a heart shape with both hands in front of the chest, holding it up toward the lens while the face stays clearly visible and in focus above it. A small glow of soft pink light shines through the gap between the fingers as the camera eases in gently.

Pictures that work best

  • Use a chest-up or head-and-shoulders photo so there's room for the hands to come together without crowding the face.
  • Keep both hands visible and unobstructed in the source photo; a hand already resting near the face gives the model less room to build a clean heart shape.
  • Bright, front-facing light on the hands helps the glow read clearly in the finger gap instead of blending into shadow.
  • If your result puts too much focus on the hands, try a photo framed a little wider, from the waist up.

How it works

  1. 01

    Add one photo

Choose the photo to match the example: include both people for a shared gesture, and keep the face and any hands involved clearly visible. Upload your own photo or start with a Hand Heart sample.

  2. 02

    Check the price

Hand Heart defaults to a 5-second clip for $0.185. Swap the model or change the length and resolution before you run — the price on the button updates to match, and that's the whole cost of the clip.

  3. 03

    Generate

Your Hand Heart clip renders in the background, lands in History and is never published.

Do the move yourself

Hand Heart keeps one version of this shot. To give Hand Heart your own motion or ending, write it yourself in Image to Video, starting from the prompt above.

What it does to your photo

Hand Heart turns a simple portrait into a warm, thank-you kind of moment: both hands come together into a heart shape in front of your chest, held up toward the lens while your face stays clearly visible above it, and a small glow of pink light shines through the gap between your fingers.

In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a close portrait of a man in a navy knit sweater broke into a big smile within the first second and brought both hands together into a heart in front of his chest. From two seconds the camera pushed in and the heart rose toward his chin, and by four to five seconds a soft pink glow lit up inside the gap between his fingers. A head-and-shoulders portrait of a woman in an ivory silk blouse kept her face sharp and unchanged for the entire five seconds: her hands settled into a neat heart just below her chin by the one-second mark, and the glowing heart appeared in the finger gap around three and a half seconds and held to the end.

The one quirk worth knowing: MiniMax H3 sometimes lifts the hand-heart up toward the lower half of the face and shifts focus onto the hands, which is what happened in the man's sample - the face goes a little soft behind the fingers while the heart stays sharp. A photo framed a bit wider, like the woman's head-and-shoulders shot, tends to keep the heart lower and the face sharp the whole way through.

It earns its keep as a thank-you clip for followers or customers, a warm sign-off for a creator profile, a Valentine's or anniversary post, or a lighthearted close to a video series. It works on close-ups and head-and-shoulders photos alike, on any subject shown from the chest up.

The prompt is public and editable. If you'd rather the heart stay lower and out of the way of the face entirely, open it in the generator and add a line asking the hands to hold at chest height without rising above the collar.
