What this effect sends
This is the full prompt, word for word. Copy it, or open it in the generator and change anything you like.
A mirror-bright chrome finish spreads over the main subject from one side to the other like poured liquid metal, coating their whole figure and hair while keeping every fold, seam and outline exactly the same, until the subject gleams like a polished sculpture. The camera keeps the original framing and orbits a few degrees as reflections of the surroundings slide across the new surface.Pictures that work best
- Structured clothing — a blazer, a coat, a shirt with a collar — carries the chrome look far better than soft knitwear, which can lose its shape entirely under the metal.
- A subject with a clear, unfussy outline against the background gives the chrome a clean edge to spread across.
- Photos with visible ambient light or color nearby — sky, signage, a warm interior — give the reflections something to slide across once the surface turns metallic.
- Skip soft products like fabric or glassware for this one; solid, structured shapes hold up far better than anything squishy or transparent.

Add one photo
Choose the photo to match the example: include both people for a shared gesture, and keep the face and any hands involved clearly visible. Upload your own photo or start with a Liquid Chrome sample.
- 02
Check the price
Liquid Chrome defaults to a 5-second clip for $0.185. Swap the model or change the length and resolution before you run — the price on the button updates to match, and that's the whole cost of the clip.

What it does to your photo
Liquid Chrome pours a mirror-bright coat of metal across your subject like poured liquid, spreading from one side of the frame to the other until skin, fabric and hair all read as one gleaming, reflective surface. It works because the metal follows every seam and fold on its way across — the edge of a lapel, the part in the hair — instead of erasing the shape underneath.
In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a man in a double-breasted suit in a concrete gallery went mirror-silver from one side of the frame at the first second and was fully chromed by the second, with his lapels, buttons, pockets and trouser creases still readable as raised lines in the metal; he then stood still as a polished statue while reflections of the room crept across his surface. A woman in an ivory trench coat on a sunlit terrace chromed from the shoulder down, reaching her face by the second second, and finished as a gleaming half-length bust with her collar, shoulder seams and wavy hair all carried into the metal while the sea light slid across the surface.
This one is far more convincing on structured clothing — a suit, a coat, anything with clean seams — than on soft knitwear or small products. In earlier passes, a soft sweater sometimes lost its shape entirely under the chrome instead of following its folds, and a bottle behind glass turned into a shapeless blob rather than a mirrored object. And because the face itself becomes chrome, don't expect skin tone or a warm expression to survive — the likeness holds in shape, not in color.
It suits sci-fi or high-fashion editorial looks, a striking cover frame for a reel, or a single dramatic shot to close out a portrait set. Pair it with Marble Statue if you want two different "living sculpture" endings from the same photo.
The prompt is public and editable — open it in the generator and change "from one side to the other" to "from the feet upward" if you'd rather the chrome climb from the ground instead of sweeping sideways.
