What this effect sends

This is the full prompt, word for word. Copy it, or open it in the generator and change anything you like.

Bright paint explodes into the frame from all four sides, electric blue, hot pink, yellow and orange, splashing over the person and the background in slow motion. Layer after layer hits until the person and the background are completely covered, and the final frame looks like a vivid abstract painting with the person's shape just readable.

Pictures that work best

  • A plain light background lets the colors read cleanly.
  • Keep the person centered so their outline stays readable at the end.
  • Name your own palette in the prompt for a branded look.
  • If you want more of the person visible, ask for less paint coverage.

How it works

  1. 01

    Add one photo

Choose the photo to match the example: include both people for a shared gesture, and keep the face and any hands involved clearly visible. Upload your own photo or start with a Paint Bomb sample.

  2. 02

    Check the price

Paint Bomb defaults to a 5-second clip for $0.185. Swap the model or change the length and resolution before you run — the price on the button updates to match, and that's the whole cost of the clip.

  3. 03

    Generate

Your Paint Bomb clip renders in the background, lands in History and is never published.

Do the move yourself

Paint Bomb keeps one version of this shot. To give Paint Bomb your own motion or ending, write it yourself in Image to Video, starting from the prompt above.

What it does to your photo

Bright paint explodes into the frame from all four sides in electric blue, hot pink, yellow and orange. It splashes over the person and the background in slow motion. Layer after layer hits until everything is covered. The final frame looks like a vivid abstract painting with the person's shape still just readable.

In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a man with a buzz cut in a white zip-up jumpsuit in an all-white studio was hit by electric blue and hot pink paint bursting in from both sides within the first second, then layer after layer of yellow and orange, until by second three he and the backdrop looked like a vivid splattered abstract painting. In a second run, a white-haired woman with red lipstick in a white denim jacket and wide white trousers in a white studio was hit by blue and pink paint bursting in from the edges at half a second, splattered in yellow and orange by second two and a half, and ended dripping in color like a living abstract painting.

Works on almost any clear photo, especially a front-facing portrait or full-body shot with a plain background, so the shape stays readable under the paint. The paint covers the subject heavily, so the person will be largely hidden by the end. Photos that are already very colorful can look chaotic.

It runs on MiniMax H3 for five seconds by default, and H3 itself goes up to 15 seconds and 2K if you want more. Studio also lets you move the same prompt to another model before you generate, such as Seedance 2.0 or Wan 3.0, and the price on the Generate button updates with every change. Our samples were all made on MiniMax H3, so other models will read the prompt in their own way.

Good for festival, party and music content, and for colorful intros or covers where an abstract final frame suits the mood.

Change "electric blue, hot pink, yellow and orange" to "deep red, gold and black" for a different palette, or change "in slow motion" to "in fast motion" for a sharper burst.
