    Pick the clip to continue

Pick a video and we’ll keep it going from its last frame.

    What happens next

Pick a clip in step 1 and this step opens.

Optional. What happens next: the action that follows, the camera move and the sound. Leave it empty for a plain continuation, or add a line of direction to steer it. The opening frame already fixes the subject and the set, so spend the words on motion.
    Durationaffects price
Length of the new segment: any whole number from 1 to 16. Defaults to 5. Your source is added on top and is not billed. no lower than 1 · no higher than 16
    affects price
Sharpness of the generated new segment: 540p, 720p or 1080p, default 720p. The resolution only sets how sharp the new segment is generated, so match your source’s resolution: a lower setting makes the new part look softer than the original. It sets the price.
    Movement amplitude
    AutoSmallMediumLarge
How much things in the new segment move: `auto` (default) lets the model judge, `small` keeps motion restrained, `medium` and `large` push it further. No effect on price.
    Generate audio
On by default, so the new segment comes with generated sound. Your source keeps its own sound either way; when one side is silent, the joined file is padded with silence.

SpicyAPI does not run a safety checker on this model. Your prompt and media go to the model as written, and the model itself decides what comes back.

What it does

Frame-first

What you approve is what animates

The only input path is an image, so there is no gap between the scene you signed off and what a text prompt is prepared to render. Wardrobe, body, pose and framing all come from the still; the model's job is the movement. Uncensored source frames come through as supplied rather than softened.

Optional prompt

A still on its own is a complete request

prompt is optional here. Send just the frame and the model infers a small plausible movement, which is often exactly what a loop needs. Add text when you want a specific beat - eyes lifting to camera, a garment sliding - and keep it to what changes rather than describing the image again.

Shape and length

Portrait clips up to sixteen seconds

There is no aspect_ratio field, so a 9:16 still produces a 9:16 clip and nothing reframes it on the way out. Combined with a sixteen-second ceiling and 1080p, that covers a full vertical beat with a beginning and an end rather than a two-second fragment.

Before you spend

image-to-video

The opening frame is followed closely and is the whole point of this family - your stills come through as supplied. The prompt is optional; when you use one, keep it to movement, because text that contradicts the frame makes the clip negotiate between them. There is no aspect_ratio field, so output shape is decided by the still. Resolution defaults to 720p; ask for 1080p explicitly when you are delivering.

all

This family publishes image-to-video and video-extend - no text-to-video, no reference task, no text-only entry point. Requests are asynchronous: create a task, then poll or take the callback. You must own the rights to every frame you upload, everyone depicted must be an adult, and you are responsible for how the output is used.

Where it fits

  • Uncensored clips other APIs reject

Source frames are accepted and animated as supplied, with no content filter, so material that hosted video APIs refuse at the prompt filter runs here. Because content lives in the image, the result matches the frame you approved instead of a softened re-interpretation of your words.

  • Companion and roleplay video

One character still becomes a set of short reactions - a look up, a smile, a shoulder sliding free - by changing only the prompt. The frame keeps identity, costume and set stable across the whole set, which is what makes a companion feed feel continuous.

  • Vertical loops for a paid feed

A 9:16 still animates into a portrait clip with no reframing, at one to four seconds for a loop or up to sixteen for a scene. Draft several at 540p, then re-run the two that read best at 1080p.

  • Motion from an existing photo set

A shoot you already own becomes video without a reshoot: each frame animates on its own terms, and because prompt is optional you can run a whole set through with no per-image direction at all.

How to call the Vidu Q3 Spicy API

  1. Make the frame first

Settle wardrobe, body, pose and framing in an image pass, and export it at the shape you want to deliver - there is no aspect_ratio field to fix it later. That still is what the clip will contain.

  2. Write only the movement, or nothing

The prompt is optional. When you use one, keep it to the beat, the camera and the sound: "She finishes pouring, sets the flask down and lifts her eyes to camera with a small smile, steam rising from the cup, the yukata sliding a fraction lower on her shoulder. Paper shoji glow, evening cicadas, very slow push-in." Then set duration_seconds and resolution.

  3. Draft cheap, finish once

Generate short variants at 540p from the same frame, pick the movement that reads, then re-run it at 1080p with a longer duration for the delivery.

The short version

Vidu Q3 Spicy is a LoRA build based on Vidu Q3 - not a model Vidu sells under its own name - published as uncensored image-to-video and video-extend endpoints. The opening frame is required and carries the content; the prompt is optional and is best used for movement, camera and sound. Clips run 1 to 16 whole seconds at 540p, 720p or 1080p, with output shape taken from the source still because there is no aspect ratio parameter, and audio generated in the same pass and on by default. The usual pattern is a two-step pipeline: produce the still with an uncensored image model, then animate it here. Tasks run asynchronously and are billed per second of output.
