What this effect sends
This is the full prompt, word for word. Copy it, or open it in the generator and change anything you like.
The person stays completely still while the whole world behind them suddenly stretches into light-speed streaks: every light in the background smears into long blue and white lines rushing past, like jumping to hyperspace. Within one second a violent wind blasts their hair backward. The streaks keep accelerating until they fill the whole background, while the person stays sharp and steady, staring into the lens.Pictures that work best
- A dark or night background gives the streaks the strongest contrast.
- Keep the person centered and facing forward so the stillness against the rush is obvious.
- Loose hair gives the wind something visible to move.
- If the streaks hide too much of the scene, ask for fewer lines or a shorter acceleration in the prompt.

How it works
- 01
Add one photo
Choose the photo to match the example: include both people for a shared gesture, and keep the face and any hands involved clearly visible. Upload your own photo or start with a Hyperdrive sample.
- 02
Check the price
Hyperdrive defaults to a 5-second clip for $0.185. Swap the model or change the length and resolution before you run — the price on the button updates to match, and that's the whole cost of the clip.
- 03
Generate
Your Hyperdrive clip renders in the background, lands in History and is never published.
Do the move yourself
Hyperdrive keeps one version of this shot. To give Hyperdrive your own motion or ending, write it yourself in Image to Video, starting from the prompt above.
What it does to your photo
The person stays completely still while the world behind them suddenly stretches. Every light in the background smears into long blue and white lines rushing past, like a jump to hyperspace. Within one second a violent wind blasts their hair backward. The streaks keep accelerating until they fill the whole background, while the person stays sharp and steady, staring into the lens.
In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a man in a black leather jacket sitting on a black motorcycle on a night-time bridge stayed perfectly still while the city lights behind him stretched into blue and white light-speed streaks from second one, his hair whipped upward as the streaks filled the whole background. In a second run, a woman with curly dark hair and a red headscarf in a cream racing jacket, gripping the wheel of a red convertible on a night bridge, stayed perfectly still as the road and city lights ahead stretched into blue and white light-speed streaks from second two, the wind blowing her hair and scarf back.
Photos with visible lights or bright points in the background, such as a night street or a city skyline, give the model streak material to stretch. A calm, front-facing subject works best because the person is meant to stay still while everything else moves. Daylight scenes with few light sources produce fewer streaks, and a busy background can bleed into the person's edges.
It runs on MiniMax H3 for five seconds by default, and H3 itself goes up to 15 seconds and 2K if you want more. Studio also lets you move the same prompt to another model before you generate, such as Seedance 2.0 or Wan 3.0, and the price on the Generate button updates with every change. Our samples were all made on MiniMax H3, so other models will read the prompt in their own way.
A good fit for sci-fi style intros, gaming and tech content, and dramatic profile loops where the person is the fixed point in a rushing world.
Change "long blue and white lines" to "long red and gold lines" for a different color of light, or change "violent wind" to "gentle wind" for a calmer version.
