What this effect sends

This is the full prompt, word for word. Copy it, or open it in the generator and change anything you like.

Low tracking shot: the person strides straight toward the camera with long, confident runway steps while strobe lights fire in rapid sequence on both sides. They stop abruptly in front of the lens, snap into a hard pose and lock eyes with the camera as the last strobe flashes. The person stays exactly as they appear in the photo.

Pictures that work best

  • Full-length framing shows the walk and the outfit.
  • A person already facing the camera gives the cleanest result.
  • A simple background keeps attention on the walk.
  • Name a specific pose in the prompt for the final frame.

How it works

  1. 01

    Add one photo

Choose the photo to match the example: include both people for a shared gesture, and keep the face and any hands involved clearly visible. Upload your own photo or start with a Runway Walk sample.

  2. 02

    Check the price

Runway Walk defaults to a 5-second clip for $0.185. Swap the model or change the length and resolution before you run — the price on the button updates to match, and that's the whole cost of the clip.

  3. 03

    Generate

Your Runway Walk clip renders in the background, lands in History and is never published.

Do the move yourself

Runway Walk keeps one version of this shot. To give Runway Walk your own motion or ending, write it yourself in Image to Video, starting from the prompt above.

What it does to your photo

This is a low tracking shot. The person strides straight toward the camera with long, confident runway steps while strobe lights fire in rapid sequence on both sides. They stop abruptly in front of the lens, snap into a hard pose and lock eyes with the camera as the last strobe flashes. The camera angle makes them look tall and powerful.

In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a silver-haired older woman in a white tuxedo jacket with black satin lapels, a black satin blouse and wide white trousers strode down a dark runway toward the camera as strobes popped on both sides through second two and a half, and stopped in a close half-length shot by second three and a half with a level stare into the lens. In a second run, a young man with a black centre-parted crop and an ear cuff, in a long oxblood leather coat with black wide trousers and boots, strode down a white runway toward the camera while strobes fired on both sides from second one to two and a half, then planted his feet by second three and a half and held a level stare.

Works best on a full-body photo with a clear view of the legs and outfit, since the person needs to walk toward the camera. A plain or indoor background works well. Seated, cropped or side-on photos make the walk harder, because the model has to turn the person to face the lens.

It runs on MiniMax H3 for five seconds by default, and H3 itself goes up to 15 seconds and 2K if you want more. Studio also lets you move the same prompt to another model before you generate, such as Seedance 2.0 or Wan 3.0, and the price on the Generate button updates with every change. Our samples were all made on MiniMax H3, so other models will read the prompt in their own way.

Good for fashion, lookbook and personal-brand content, and for bold intros that show off an outfit.

Change "long, confident runway steps" to "slow, confident runway steps" for a calmer walk, or change "snap into a hard pose" to "snap into a hand-on-hip pose" for a specific finish.
