Required. What happens next: the action that follows, the camera move and the sound on an "Audio:" line. The opening frame already fixes the subject and the set, so spend the words on motion. A different setting can make the new segment cut away from your last frame. at least 1 characters
    affects price
Resolution of the new segment: 480p, 720p or 1080p, default 720p. The resolution only sets how sharp the new segment is generated, so match your source’s resolution: a lower setting makes the new part look softer than the original. It sets the price.
    Durationaffects price
Length of the new segment: any whole number from 5 to 20 seconds, default 5. 20 seconds is one generation, not a stitched sequence. Your source is added on top and is not billed. no lower than 5 · no higher than 20

Before you spend

all

Every clip comes back with a soundtrack generated in the same pass: dialogue, singing, effects and ambience follow the prompt, and there is no switch to turn audio off. The publisher notes that sound without speech can be of lower quality. Frames are slightly under the tier name: 1080p is 1920 x 1024 and 720p is 1280 x 704. At our strongest content probe level the model held back part of the scene.

text-to-video

Only two shapes: 16:9 and 9:16.

image-to-video

The clip keeps the shape of your photo, and a prompt is required. If the prompt describes another setting, the model may cut away from your opening frame to a new shot; describe what happens next in the picture you sent.

What it does

Sound in the same pass

Write the soundtrack next to the shot

The prompt puts a man on the rear platform of a night train and ends with an Audio line: wheels over the rail joints, wind, a crossing bell and a distant horn. The MP4 comes back with a stereo track made in the same pass as the picture, with no separate sound step.

Image to video

A photo that plays

A still of a pilot at the door of a silver propeller plane on a wet airstrip. He climbs in and the propeller turns over: the track stays almost silent for the first seconds, then fills with the engine as the blades start to spin.

Effects

Foley written into the prompt

Rain streaking the windows of a night taxi, a couple leaning close in the back seat, and an Audio line for rain on the roof, the wipers and the indicator: write the effects next to the action and they come back in the same clip, from one request.

Where it fits

  • Clips that need sound

Singers, musicians, bartenders, crowds, weather: one request returns a finished MP4 with picture and audio, no separate sound pass.

  • Longer single takes

Up to 20 seconds in one generation, long enough for a scene rather than a fragment.

  • Vertical and widescreen delivery

    9:16 at 704 x 1280 for feeds, 16:9 up to 1920 x 1024 for players and edits.

  • Uncensored clips for open platforms

No content filter on the prompt, the image or the result, with sound included. Everyone on screen must be an adult.

How to call the LTX-2 19B API

  1. Give the sound its own line

End the prompt with "Audio:" and list what should be heard: "ice rattling in the shaker, low bar chatter, soft music". Without it the model still adds sound, but you choose less of it.

  2. Pick the length per second

Any whole second from 5 to 20. Price follows the length, so draft at 5 seconds and extend once the shot works.

  3. Draft at 480p, deliver at 720p or 1080p

The 480p tier is the cheapest per second. 720p is the sweet spot in our tests: about 20 seconds of model time for a 5-second clip.

  4. On image-to-video, stay in the picture

Describe what happens next in the photo you send. If the prompt describes a different place, the clip can cut away from your opening frame to a new shot.

The short version

LTX-2 19B gives you Lightricks' open audio-video model through one API: text-to-video, image-to-video and video-extend from 5 to 20 seconds at 480p, 720p or 1080p, with a stereo soundtrack generated in the same pass. Billed per second, fast at 720p, and nothing is filtered.
