What this effect sends
This is the full prompt, word for word. Copy it, or open it in the generator and change anything you like.
The person begins to break apart from the edges into glowing square pixels. The pixels peel away from their shoulders, hair and arms and stream sideways in a bright ribbon of light, as if blown by a digital wind. Within four seconds the whole figure has dissolved into a flowing stream of pixels that flies out of frame, leaving the background empty.Pictures that work best
- Choose a plain background so the leftover scene looks clean.
- Clear edges around hair and shoulders help the pixels peel off neatly.
- A dark photo makes the glowing pixels more vivid.
- If you want the pixels to reassemble, describe that as an extra step in the prompt.

How it works
- 01
Add one photo
Choose the photo to match the example: include both people for a shared gesture, and keep the face and any hands involved clearly visible. Upload your own photo or start with a Pixel Scatter sample.
- 02
Check the price
Pixel Scatter defaults to a 5-second clip for $0.185. Swap the model or change the length and resolution before you run — the price on the button updates to match, and that's the whole cost of the clip.
- 03
Generate
Your Pixel Scatter clip renders in the background, lands in History and is never published.
Do the move yourself
Pixel Scatter keeps one version of this shot. To give Pixel Scatter your own motion or ending, write it yourself in Image to Video, starting from the prompt above.
What it does to your photo
The person begins to break apart from the edges into glowing square pixels. The pixels peel away from the shoulders, hair and arms and stream sideways in a bright ribbon of light, as if blown by a digital wind. Within four seconds the whole figure has dissolved into a flowing stream of pixels that flies out of frame. The background is left empty, which gives the clip a clean ending.
In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a young woman with a high ponytail in a neon pink bomber jacket standing in a blue-lit server room began breaking into glowing square pixels at the shoulders around second two, streamed away sideways as a ribbon of pink and blue pixels by second four, and left only the empty aisle at the end. In a second run, a man with short hair and black glasses in a mustard hooded rain jacket standing in a white light-strip corridor began breaking into glowing square pixels at the shoulders around second two, turned side-on as his whole figure pixelated, streamed away sideways in a ribbon of yellow pixels at second four, and left only the empty corridor.
Works best on a clearly outlined subject against a simple, plain background, because the pixels peel from the silhouette and the empty background at the end needs to look believable. The person disappears completely, so this is a vanish effect, not a transformation that keeps them. Busy backgrounds can leave fragments or look patchy once the figure is gone.
It runs on MiniMax H3 for five seconds by default, and H3 itself goes up to 15 seconds and 2K if you want more. Studio also lets you move the same prompt to another model before you generate, such as Seedance 2.0 or Wan 3.0, and the price on the Generate button updates with every change. Our samples were all made on MiniMax H3, so other models will read the prompt in their own way.
Good for tech intros, glitch-style transitions, game-like reveals and any edit that needs a subject to exit the scene cleanly.
Change "glowing square pixels" to "glowing round particles" for a softer look, or change "stream sideways" to "stream upward" to change the direction of the wind.
