What this effect sends

This is the full prompt, word for word. Copy it, or open it in the generator and change anything you like.

The lights around the person go dark. Rings of white and violet LED light then snap on one after another around them, pulsing in rhythm, as the person walks toward the camera. They stop close to the lens with the lights blazing behind them and give a slow, confident look. The person stays exactly as they appear in the photo.

Pictures that work best

  • Full-length framing gives the person room to walk forward.
  • Indoor or dim photos blend naturally into the dark start.
  • A confident stance matches the ending look.
  • Name your own colors in the prompt for a themed tunnel.

How it works

  1. 01

    Add one photo

Choose the photo to match the example: include both people for a shared gesture, and keep the face and any hands involved clearly visible. Upload your own photo or start with a Light Tunnel sample.

  2. 02

    Check the price

Light Tunnel defaults to a 5-second clip for $0.185. Swap the model or change the length and resolution before you run — the price on the button updates to match, and that's the whole cost of the clip.

  3. 03

    Generate

Your Light Tunnel clip renders in the background, lands in History and is never published.

Do the move yourself

Light Tunnel keeps one version of this shot. To give Light Tunnel your own motion or ending, write it yourself in Image to Video, starting from the prompt above.

What it does to your photo

The lights around the person go dark. Rings of white and violet LED light then snap on one after another around them, pulsing in rhythm, as the person walks toward the camera. They stop close to the lens with the lights blazing behind them and give a slow, confident look. The result feels like a stage entrance down a glowing corridor.

In our test runs on MiniMax H3, a man with tousled dark hair in an open-collared white shirt and black trousers at the end of a corridor of white LED frames stood in darkness as the lights cut out at second one, then violet and white light rings snapped on one after another as he walked toward the camera, stopping close to the lens with the tunnel blazing behind him. In a second run, a young woman with long straight black hair in a black satin dress and white cropped blazer in a ring-lit corridor saw the lights cut out at second one, white and violet LED rings snap on around her by second one and a half, and walked toward the camera through the pulsing rings to stop in a close, confident look.

Works best on a full-body or three-quarter photo of a person standing, with a background that can become a dark corridor, such as an indoor space, hallway or night scene. The lights are generated, so the tunnel invents its own geometry. Seated or tightly cropped subjects cannot walk toward the lens. The effect leaves the person exactly as they are in your photo and only adds the motion, light and atmosphere.

It runs on MiniMax H3 for five seconds by default, and H3 itself goes up to 15 seconds and 2K if you want more. Studio also lets you move the same prompt to another model before you generate, such as Seedance 2.0 or Wan 3.0, and the price on the Generate button updates with every change. Our samples were all made on MiniMax H3, so other models will read the prompt in their own way.

Good for stage entrances, music content and futuristic intros, and for confident, high-energy profile clips.

Change "white and violet LED light" to "white and teal LED light" for a different palette, or change "pulsing in rhythm" to "pulsing slowly" for a calmer beat.
