Continue a clip with Wan 3.0 Prime: the last frame of your video opens a new 2 to 30 second segment, and you get back one file with the original and the continuation joined, at 480p, 720p or 1080p.

    What happens next

Pick a clip in step 1 and this step opens.

Optional. Leave it empty and the model carries the scene on by itself from your final frame. To steer it, describe what happens next: the action that follows, the camera move and the sound. The opening frame already fixes the subject and the set, so spend the words on motion. at least 1 characters
    affects price
Resolution the new segment is generated at: 480p, 720p or 1080p, default 720p. Match your source’s resolution so the seam shows no step in sharpness. The joined MP4 keeps your clip’s frame rate and its framing, with no black bars. To line the seam up, the picture may be trimmed or adjusted by a few percent at the edges. If the model returns a noticeably different shape, the new segment is scaled to fill your frame and centered, cropping what spills over. It sets the price.
    Durationaffects price
Length of the new segment: any whole number from 2 to 30, or -1 to let the model choose, in which case 30 seconds are held up front and the charge settles on the length delivered. Defaults to 5. Your source is added on top and is not billed. no lower than 2 · no higher than 30
    Generate audio
On by default, so the new segment comes with generated sound. Your source keeps its own sound either way; when one side is silent, the joined file is padded with silence.
Safety checkerOff

SpicyAPI does not run a safety checker on this model. Your prompt and media go to the model as written, and the model itself decides what comes back.

Before you spend

text-to-video

Uncensored range is real here — the rooftop clip on this page came from text alone, and two-person kissing prompts that some vendors' models refuse at the content filter generated normally on this line. The trade-off is identity: with no reference the face is invented fresh on every run.

image-to-video

The reliable path when the output has to match your wording. The opening frame fixes wardrobe, body and set; last_image_url fixes the ending. Leave aspect_ratio out to inherit the frame's shape. Backlit sheer fabric holds well; fast limb crossings at 30 seconds are where artefacts appear first.

reference-to-video

One of the three reference arrays, a reference file or a web link is required; the prompt is optional. Limits are 10 images, 5 videos and 5 audio files, with reference video and reference audio each capped at 15 seconds in total. Reference video seconds are billed with the output, and the two together stay within 30 seconds. Label each reference in the prompt. Reference video sets motion style well but is a poor way to pin a face — use an image plate for that.

all

2 to 30 seconds, 480p / 720p / 1080p, default 5 seconds at 720p. Prime and Wan 3.0 accept the same body, so benchmark both before committing. You are responsible for consent, rights, age and local law for everyone depicted and for every file you upload. The platform does not screen content. Public pages and examples stay suitable for general viewing.

What it does

Same contract, faster turnaround

Same request, built for speed

Prime publishes exactly the fields Wan 3.0 publishes, so the same JSON body works on both and only the model name in the request changes. Alibaba positions Prime as the high-speed version with the same capabilities, so reach for it when a deadline matters more than per-second price, and stay on Wan 3.0 when it does not.

Golden-hour skin and fabric

Backlight, sheer cloth, moving hair

The clip on this page is a five-second text-to-video run: sheer linen lifting off a rooftop ledge in hard backlight, hair moving in the wind, sea and gulls on the soundtrack. Backlit sheer fabric and wind are where a video model usually falls apart, so it is the honest test of this render.

Uncensored

Uncensored prompts need no flag

There is no content flag to set and no per-request declaration. Resort looks, evening wear and romantic scenes are generated the same way any other prompt is. Prompts of this kind are refused at the content filter on some competing models; on the Wan 3.0 line we generated them successfully.

Where it fits

  • Deadline work on the Wan 3.0 contract

When a batch has to come back fast, send the request you already wrote for Wan 3.0 to Prime unchanged. The schemas are identical, so moving a job between the two is a one-word change, and Wan 3.0 stays the choice when per-second price matters more than turnaround.

  • Resort and summer lookbooks

Backlit sheer fabric, wet skin and wind are exactly what the rooftop clip on this page tests. Run image-to-video from a styled still when the garment has to stay the garment, and text-to-video when you are still exploring the look.

  • Uncensored scenes refused by other APIs

A kiss, an embrace, two people in one frame. There is no per-request content declaration here — you pick the model and send the prompt. Start from your own opening frame when the output has to follow your wording literally.

  • Fifteen-second social spots

Fifteen seconds at 720p with generated audio covers a full pre-roll without an edit. Hold the seed, change one line of the action per rerun, and keep the reference plates identical so the spot can be re-cut later.

How to call the Wan 3.0 Prime API

  1. 1. Copy the request you already send to Wan 3.0

The fields are identical across the two families, so an existing Wan 3.0 client works unchanged. Pick the endpoint by what you have: text only, an opening frame, or plates that must survive across shots.

  2. 2. Write the shot, then run it on both renders

Subject, action, camera, light, sound. This is the exact text behind the clip on this page, at duration_seconds 5, resolution 720p, aspect_ratio 16:9 with audio on: “Golden hour on a Mediterranean rooftop. An adult woman in a sheer white linen shirt over a bikini top sits on the ledge, wind lifting the open shirt behind her like a sail, she pushes sunglasses into her hair and laughs at someone off camera. Slow orbit around her, warm backlight and lens bloom, sea breeze and gulls.”

  3. 3. Submit asynchronously and compare with the seed held

Create with an Idempotency-Key, keep the task id, poll or take the callback. Keep the seed fixed across the two renders so the only difference in the output is the model, then change one field at a time.

The short version

Wan 3.0 Prime is the high-speed version of Alibaba's Wan 3.0, with the same capabilities as the standard model, published on this platform as independent APIs: text-to-video, image-to-video, video-extend and reference-to-video. The contract matches Wan 3.0 field for field — 2 to 30 seconds, 480p, 720p or 1080p, five fixed aspect ratios or adaptive, an optional seed, and audio generated in the same pass — with reference-to-video accepting up to 10 image, 5 video and 5 audio references and image-to-video pinning both ends through image_url and last_image_url. Tasks are asynchronous and billed in US dollars per second of delivered video, plus the seconds of any reference video on reference-to-video. Prime is uncensored: romance and two-person prompts run without any per-request declaration.
