MiniMax H3 360 Orbit is a one-job tool: you upload a photo, pick a length, and get back a clip in which time stops and the camera circles the scene once, ending on the frame you started from. It runs MiniMax H3 with a community orbit adapter loaded at full strength and the instruction it was trained on sent for you, so there is no prompt box. The effect is what you pay for, not the model's own imagination.

The verdict

The adapter is doing the work. On 17 October 2026 we ran the same photo and seed with and without it: with the adapter the camera completed the full turn and landed back on the first frame; without it, the same 3-second request barely moved. We also ran the content test, and it passed without trouble: on 17 and 26 October three adult photos at Mild, Moderate and Strong were each orbited exactly as they were, with nothing refused or swapped. SpicyAPI adds no filter on the photo or the clip.

Pick it for fashion turnarounds, frozen-moment shots and character checks from the side and back. For a story, dialogue or a camera move you describe yourself, use MiniMax H3 instead.

Key facts

  • Content: three runs, no refusals. Mild, Moderate and Strong photos were orbited as written on 17 and 26 Oct 2026. Very strong and Maximum were not tested.
  • Input: one image, used as both the first and the last frame, which is why the clip loops. The shape of the output follows the photo.
  • Length: 3 to 6 seconds; 3 seconds gave the cleanest frozen turn.
  • Resolution: 480p (default), 540p, 768p or 1080p.
  • Prompt: none. The orbit instruction is fixed because rewording it breaks the effect.
  • Price: billed per second of output at the resolution you pick. The model page shows live prices.

What we liked and what held it back

What we liked

  • The turn actually happens. Same photo, same seed, adapter on or off: on versus a nearly static clip. The adapter is not decoration.
  • It lands where it started. The last frame matches the first, so the clip plays as a seamless loop on a page or a post.
  • Frozen details read at once. In the examples, petals stay in the air above raised hands, lemon leaves stay suspended at their height and a skirt holds its flare while the camera goes round.
  • No prompt to get wrong. Choose a photo and a length; that is the whole request.
  • Content was not an obstacle. Three levels from Mild to Strong came back as written, with no input-side block.

What held it back

  • The back of the scene is invented. The sides and rear are generated from your photo, so a detail the photo does not show, such as the back of an outfit, can differ from the real thing.
  • Longer clips let people move. At 5 to 6 seconds the subjects began to shift their pose instead of staying frozen; at 3 seconds they held still.
  • Tight spaces get crowded. In the orchard example tree trunks briefly pass in front of the subject as the camera goes round.
  • Crowded scenes drift. The carousel example at 6 seconds shows the dancers continuing to move, so treat long clips as slow orbits, not frozen ones.
  • Narrow testing so far. We ran three content levels at 480p and 3 seconds, and we have not tested Very strong or Maximum on this tool.

What the clips look like

The gallery holds published, safe-for-work examples from the MiniMax H3 360 Orbit model page, all at 768p. Our content-test clips are not shown; we report those results in words.

Front, profile, back, front. A woman in an orchard with petals in the air: three seconds, one clean turn, hair and petals held in place.

A dance mid-spin. Dancers on a carousel, orbited over six seconds. The longer clip turns more slowly and the people start to move.

Leaves held at their height. A courtyard fountain in four seconds, with lemon leaves suspended while the camera goes round.

A cloud of petals. A hammam scene in three seconds with the petal cloud frozen above raised hands.

How far it goes

SpicyAPI adds no content filter. On 17 and 26 October 2026 we ran one adult fictional photo per level as both the first and last frame at 480p and 3 seconds, and checked each clip by eye; we do not publish the test photos.

Each clip made the full turn and landed back on the starting frame, with nothing covered up or replaced. Because the photo is the whole request, how far a clip goes depends on how far the photo goes.
