Introduction
PixVerse V6 Max Text to Video turns a written scene into a clip of 1 to 15 seconds at 360p, 540p, 720p or 1080p, in eight aspect ratios from 9:16 to 21:9. V6 Max is PixVerse's higher-quality tier of PixVerse V6, launched on 2026-10-20. Sound is optional: switch generate_audio on and the model generates ambience, effects, music and any dialogue you write in quotes together with the picture. In our runs a 5-second 540p clip took about a minute and a half of model time.
V6 Max starts from text or from a single image and nothing else: there is no last frame, no reference mode, no extend and no multi-shot switch. Those live on PixVerse V6.

Key features & highlights
Up to 1080p and 15 seconds
resolution runs from 360p to 1080p (720p by default) and duration_seconds takes any whole number from 1 to 15. Billing is per second of output, so length drives the total, and higher resolutions cost more per second.
Eight aspect ratios
16:9 (default), 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, 9:16, 2:3, 3:2 and 21:9. The aspect ratio does not change the price. Our violinist clip was requested at 9:16 and came back at 576x1024 at 540p.
Sound written into the prompt
generate_audio is off by default. Switched on, the model generates ambience, effects, music and dialogue you write in quotes together with the picture. In our violinist run, with sound on, the violin music was audible on the soundtrack. Sound costs more per second.
Content review
PixVerse applies its own content review, and how far a request at the edge of it goes can vary from request to request. Requests it declines fail and are not charged.

Use cases
Night streets and plazas with ambience
Describe the place, one action and what you hear. The snowy-square example shows a street violinist under a lit stone arch with a crowd watching and the violin on the soundtrack.
Vertical clips for social
Choose 9:16 and describe a subject that fits a tall frame. The violinist clip came back as a 576x1024 vertical clip.
Checking a shot against PixVerse V6
Run the same prompt and seed on PixVerse V6 and on V6 Max, then compare the frames for your own scene. PixVerse positions V6 Max as the higher-quality tier; your shot is the best test of what that means for you.
Prompt guide & pro tips
Write it in the order it happens
Subject and setting, action, camera move, light, then a separate Sound: line. Prompts can be 1 to 5,000 characters, but one clear scene reads better than a long list.
Put dialogue in quotes
With generate_audio on, a spoken line written in quotes is generated as dialogue. Keep it to one short line per clip.
Keep it to one scene
V6 Max has no multi-shot switch, so describe a single continuous moment. If you want the model to cut the clip into several shots, use shot_type on PixVerse V6.
Draft low, finish at 1080p
Find the framing and the action at 540p or 720p, then rerun the prompt you like at 1080p. The price per second rises with resolution.
Use a seed to compare one change at a time
Keep the seed fixed while you change a single thing in the prompt. It is useful for comparisons; it does not guarantee identical frames.
