FLUX 3 Klein LoRA Review: Your Own LoRAs, No Content Filter

Pick FLUX 3 Klein LoRA to run Klein-trained LoRAs with no content filter; check each file against a no-LoRA control, since wrong-base files load and do nothing.

FLUX 3 Klein LoRA runs the step-distilled FLUX 3 Klein, Black Forest Labs' 5.6B open-weights image model from 15 October 2026, with up to three of your own LoRA files per request. Text-to-image comes in 15 aspect ratios at 1k or 2k, and editing takes one to three reference images. SpicyAPI adds no content filter on prompts, LoRA files, source images or results, and the page label is Uncensored.

The verdict

We tested it on 16 October 2026 and re-ran the stronger levels on 26 October, with fictional adults only. Nothing was refused. The model itself still limits the top of the range: with no LoRA loaded, Mild and Moderate came back as written, Strong came back as written in some runs and toned down in others, Very strong was toned down on both endpoints, and at least one Maximum request type was delivered on each. It is the same distilled model as FLUX 3 Klein, so those limits carry over.

The reason to pick this endpoint is the LoRA slot. A pastel style LoRA trained on the Base build loaded and set the look at every strength we tried, up to three LoRAs ran together, and the price does not change with the number of LoRAs. The catch is compatibility: LoRAs trained for the older FLUX.2 Klein loaded without an error and changed nothing, pixel for pixel, as did two files saved in diffusers format. We did not run a blind quality test on this endpoint, so no quality score is quoted; the score card on this page shows the live Spicy Index and Freedom Score.

Key facts

  • Content limits: no platform filter, and nothing was refused in our runs. Where results were toned down it was the model, not a block.
  • LoRAs: up to 3 entries per request, each {path, scale}; path is a direct HTTPS link to a .safetensors file, scale runs 0 to 4. Use files trained for FLUX 3 Klein or FLUX 3 Klein Base.
  • Text-to-image: prompt, aspect_ratio (15 options), resolution (1k or 2k), output_format (JPEG, PNG or WebP) and seed.
  • Edit: the same, plus image_urls with 1 to 3 references, named in the prompt as <ref_image_1>, <ref_image_2> and so on; aspect_ratio also offers auto.
  • Not available: negative prompt, step or guidance controls, prompt expansion. One image per request.
  • Speed: most 1k text-to-image runs finished in 2 to 5 seconds of model time (the first call was a 24-second cold start), 2k took roughly 10 to 25 seconds, edits 6 to 20 seconds. The first use of a new LoRA file adds about 5 to 10 seconds.
  • Price: per image by size tier; the number of LoRAs, the aspect ratio and the file format do not change it. See the model page.

What we liked and what held it back

What we liked

  • A Base-trained LoRA works here. The pastel style LoRA changed the result at every strength we tried, so you do not need a LoRA made specifically for the distilled build.
  • Three LoRAs at once. A request with three different files loaded ran normally.
  • Flat price per LoRA count. Loading zero, one or three costs the same.
  • Same weights as Klein. With no LoRA loaded, our text-to-image control matched the plain Klein picture pixel for pixel at the same seed, so a loaded-versus-unloaded pair shows exactly what a file adds.
  • Quick. Seconds per 1k image on a warm model.
  • No content filter on files or results. LoRA links are fetched and used as they are.

What held it back

  • Wrong-base files load silently. A FLUX.2 Klein 9B LoRA was accepted and left the picture identical to the control. Always compare against the same seed with no LoRA.
  • Diffusers-format files can do little. Two Base-trained LoRAs saved that way, a tarot-card style and a camera-angle file, changed almost nothing.
  • A strong style LoRA can tone a request down. At scale 1, the pastel LoRA turned a Moderate text request into a clothed illustration; the matching edit was delivered.
  • Editing needs more strength. The same style LoRA barely showed at 1.0 in an edit and was clear at 1.5; at 2.5 faces went cartoonish.
  • Limits of the model remain. Very strong requests were toned down with or without a LoRA in our runs.
  • The link has to be the file. A page link failed with a clear "direct download link" error; a missing file failed too. Failed requests are not charged. More than three LoRAs is rejected at submission.
  • Custom sizes are not offered. Pick an aspect ratio and a size tier.

What the images look like

The gallery shows the six published examples from the FLUX 3 Klein LoRA model page: three text-to-image and three edits, with and without the pastel LoRA. They show clothed adults only.

Pastel at 0.5. A woman on the rim of a stone well in a village square, photographed with the palette pulled toward lilac and cream. At this strength it is still a photograph.

Pastel at 0.6, wide. A man lying back in a meadow of wild fennel and poppies at 16:9, soft powder-blue tones.

No LoRA at all. A couple sharing a fig under a vine pergola at dusk, to show the distilled model on its own.

Edits. A straw hat taken from one photo and put on the man in another, restyled as a soft watercolour with the pastel LoRA at 1.2; a single photo restyled as a pastel illustration at 1.2; and an emerald dress swap with no LoRA that keeps the face and the courtyard.

Prompts that worked

Put the LoRA's trigger word first, then describe the scene in full sentences: subject with an age, clothing, place, light, lens. For edits, name each reference as <ref_image_1> and say what must stay. Keep every person an adult.

1. Text-to-image with a style LoRA. loras with one pastel LoRA at scale 0.5, aspect_ratio 3:4.

text
pastelstyle, photograph of a woman in her late thirties with fine laugh lines and long wavy auburn hair, sitting on the rim of an old stone well in a sun-bleached village square, in a pale lilac linen sundress, almond blossom drifting around her, soft pastel palette, airy morning light.

2. Edit with two references. Same LoRA at scale 1.2.

text
pastelstyle, Put the straw panama hat from <ref_image_2> on the man from <ref_image_1>, tilted low over one eye. Keep his face and curls. Turn the market into a soft pastel watercolour scene in early evening light.

3. No LoRA, two people. aspect_ratio 4:5.

text
Cinematic photograph under a vine-covered pergola at dusk on a Greek island. An adult couple in their thirties, a Greek woman in a rust-red wrap dress and a Moroccan man in an open cream shirt, share a ripe fig across the corner of a long rustic table, both laughing softly. Strings of warm bulbs, terracotta jugs, indigo sky, 50mm lens, film grain.

Weak: a LoRA link with no trigger word and no control run. Strong: trigger first, a full caption after it, and a second run at scale 0 on the same seed.

How far it goes

SpicyAPI adds no content filter. We tested with adult subjects only, over five intensity levels (Mild, Moderate, Strong, Very strong, Maximum; the test prompts are not published), with no LoRA loaded unless stated, and read every image. Results are reported as delivered, toned down or refused. Sample sizes are small, so these are observations, not rates.

  • Mild and Moderate: delivered on text-to-image and edit (16 October).
  • Strong: delivered on edit and in some text-to-image runs, toned down in others. A male-subject Strong run was toned down on both endpoints.
  • Very strong: toned down on text-to-image and on edit (26 October).
  • Maximum: of the two request types, one was delivered and one toned down on text-to-image, and at least one was delivered on edit (26 October).
  • With the pastel LoRA at 1.0: a Moderate text request came back as a clothed illustration, and the matching edit was delivered.
  • Refused: none, on either endpoint.

We have not tested a purpose-trained unfiltered LoRA for FLUX 3 Klein, so we cannot say whether one lifts the Very strong limit. Do not assume a similarly named FLUX.2 file does.

Adults only, in every prompt, source photo and LoRA. Never upload a real person's likeness without consent, never depict anyone who could read as a minor, and keep your outputs private unless you have the right to share them.

Loading your own LoRA

Point loras at up to three {path, scale} entries. We ran two of the endpoint's published cases and both worked: the pastel style LoRA at 0.5 in text-to-image gave the well-side photograph its lilac palette, and the same file at 1.2 in editing restyled a hat swap and a single photo. Start around 0.6 to 1 for photos and stop where faces still read as adults; raise the strength in edits.

Files that did not help in our tests: LoRAs trained for FLUX.2 Klein 9B (loaded, no effect), a tarot-card style LoRA and a camera-angle LoRA in diffusers format (almost no effect). Black Forest Labs says a LoRA trained on Klein Base loads into the distilled Klein without conversion; a scale near 0.75 is their suggestion. Civitai download links worked in our tests, including ones that answer a bare request with a login error, but a repository web page does not.
